Me and a group of friends used to visit regularly for steak night on Wednesday at £19 for the T bone which was always very tasty for a decent price. 4 of us went today for the steak to find it had been increase to £25 which with a drink and sauce puts the price up to over £30.

Response from Rebeccaleagate, Manager at The Leagate Inn

Hello thanks for your review. Just to point out the inaccuracies, firstly we are new business owners therefore we have not offered “steak nights” for months on end this was something the old owners promoted and did. Secondly the meat is of very high quality so yes they do indeed cost a lot of money it is a 22oz t bone afterall. If we had continued with that deal we would lose money on it, you are more than welcome to come in and I will privately show the cost break downs and prove that we are not actually liars as you so claim. Fourthly you didn’t even eat here, when you realised the deal wasn’t on you left Straight away so how you can rate us on food and service you never received I’m not sure.
