NEW 4star boutique hotel, in a sandy beach resort named Mati in Nea Makri (Attica, Greece), a glimpse away from the Athens airport, Rafina Port & the Athens center. Stylish hotel suites, sensational pool area, wellness center, business conference facilities and many more.
Star ratings are intended to indicate the general level of features, amenities, and services to expect. This property is classified according to Giata.
Wonderful for a short holiday to rest or to bridge to the next location. Beautiful view. Friendly staff, extensive breakfast buffet and freshly prepared al la carte. There is little else to do in the area. Nea Makri and Rafina are places nearby where you can get by bus or taxi. There is not much to do, but it is better to go there for a day at the beach and some shops. Raffia is a 50 minute walk along the coast. If you walk to the main road towards the bus (quite a climb uphill), you will come across a good restaurant/pastry shop halfway through, aptiov mati. Here you can eat delicious lunch/dinner at an affordable price.

We spent three nights here and were simply delighted by this lovely, small hotel, which is located right by the sea. The view from the room balconies is fantastic, the staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating! The hotel is stylishly furnished and very clean! The restaurant offers a small, solid menu and delicious snacks, which you can enjoy by the pool, for example. We would come again! Thank you very much for these relaxing, beautiful days!

We arrived late (2200h) to a very friendly and speedy check in. The room was immaculate and a most comfortable bed. The location is lovely - beside a small harbour and a convenience store right across the road and a fish restaurant close by, as is a pizza restaurant. Great breakfast on the dining room patio. Clean, helpful, nice location and great value.

Hotel in Mati, by the sea... but not too much! In an underserved area, the hotel follows the trend! On paper it offers a lot, in reality the services have reduced hours and are of low quality. The rooms appear to have been furnished in the 1980s and never modernized. The very small bathroom in the room is poorly organised. The restaurant service with few proposals, not necessarily available and of low quality. It could also be used as a base on the coast from which to go and explore, but it really doesn't sell for a 4 star! If you raise expectations, you increase disappointment.

This hotel needs a definite refurbish. Yes, the room was clean but everything in it was old. In every hotel we had stayed in on our journey there were at least complimentary waters in the fridge but not hear despite there being a heatwave. The breakfast was also below standard. The yogurt and honey were of an inferior quilty and there was no fresh bread. The only saving grace was the lovely pool

Firstly, I would like to say a big thank you to Dorita & Eleni who were the reception staff. They were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful and really made our stay pleasant.
Pros- The room was clean and a good size for what we paid for. The pool area is intimate and cozy and relaxing in a way where it was crowded.
Cons- The breakfast wasn't quite up to standard, especially the scrambled eggs but there wasn't really much of a variety. The location of the hotel wasn't the best as there is not much to see or do but it is in close proximity to the airport which is a plus. This is advertised as being on the beach, but not entirely sure where the beach was located.
I would say this is a 4 star hotel, mainly because of the lovely ladies at front desk.

I stayed at Cabo Verde for 6 nights in May. The property sits right on the ocean with beautiful views from all balconies. It is exceptionally clean. There is a small bar and a spa on property. The staff is so kind and helpful, especially the wonderful Maria at the front desk. Cabo Verde would make a great stop if you were flying or ferrying out, as it is about 25 minutes from the airport and just a few minutes from Rafina port.

Excellent hotel, clean and very comfortable, with a very nice pool and subbed area overlooking the sea.
Close to the airport and right in front of the sea, everything you need for relaxing break not far away from Athens.
Good quality breakfast and a particular thanks to John for his courtesy during the late check-in and the very early checkout.
If you have a rental car, you will have the chance to access the city by a secure underground parking at the metro station of NOMISMATOKOPEIO and from there take the BLU line.

A nicely located hotel in this area. We found it very clean, with a comfortable bed and good pool area. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Buffet breakfast was fine, with a good varied selection of options.
For the price we felt the hotel was great value and would definitely stay again if we were visiting the area.

A decent hotel near the airport / discount malls. Stayed there for just one evening before our departure. Decided to book the place based on availability and cost. Dated room decor, clean overall. No access to the sea despite being at the edge of the small marina / port - small pool not adequate for the many tourists and visitors.

Of course there is. The hotel is recently built and has all the fire measures required by law. All floors have two escapes and the ground floor has more than two
Agree with that being said before. The area certainly benefits from each visitor on their way back to as was. We certainly liked it and enjoyed very good food in the hotels vicinity, too. The Cabo Verde is as untouched by the fire
Hello, in answer to your question, The hotel is fine, small beach and harbor right there with room to have quiet time. The hotel has great common area's including a roof patio. The fitness room is small and the equipment limited. While there are a few other facilities in the immediate area, they are few.
I am told there is a local bus to the other town (centers) along the coast. I had a car ...
Based our your brief description I am unsure if the location would meet your needs.
The lovely hotel is safe. The 2 mini supermarkets survived. The roads have been cleared, but so much has been burnt to the ground, reports say 98% of Mati was destroyed. If you were planning on holidaying here this summer, it’s your choice. Its safe, but very sad. The local economy depends on tourism and holiday makers, but it’s understandable if you decide to postpone for this year. The hotel is so good, the sea views wonderful, the staff fantastic. Hope this helps.
There are more places to choose from in the Nea Makri area.
