Barbara and John were so warm! Just took the time to talk to my friend and I about their beautiful property, the farm & animals. The whole property was beautiful. Our "tour guide" was a duck who walked with us down to see the horses, donkeys & cattle. We spent 2 nights with Barbara & John who treated us splendidly!... More

Incredible property, beautiful and historic. Barbara and John spoiled us from the minute we arrived. The grounds were gorgeous, breakfast was wonderful, hospitality could not be beaten. We so enjoyed talking with Barbara. A few minutes walk rom the town centre. You won't be sorry!

We stayed with Barbara and John last May for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. Loved the gardens with lots of bluebells, the peat fire in the morning, the comfortable and lovely room and the tales Barbara shared with us. Nights were very peaceful as their home is set back from the main road and surrounded by trees. We... More

We stayed here September 13, 2015. What a gem! The owner was so friendly and kind, and the property is utterly beautiful. I would highly recommend it for couples or even families. We wished we could have stayed longer and enjoyed walking through the farm and woodlands. Caheroyan House is right in Athenry, which is a magical place - so... More

Duno where to start as I loved this place so much. I travelled with my parents this weekend to a communion in the next town. We were met by a lovely bluebelled drive and arrived at house that was just gorgeous. The house and garden with all it's added features had me straight away. Barbara met us and she made... More

I walked from the train station and spent one night of relaxing and peaceful unwind in a spiritual place. An afternoon spent in the sun listening to the babble of the stream and chatter of birds lovely hosts and a hearty irish breakfast.

John and Barbara are two of the nicest people we met on our trip. Every morning Barbara sends you off on your adventure with a full belly and a lot of thought for the day. She is genuinely interested in getting to know her guests and aims to please with each breakfast. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and the house... More

Caheroyan House was my favorite B&B in Ireland and I will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Ireland. Barbara is what I consider to be the ideal B&B host - striking just the right balance between friendliness and professionalism. She was happy to tell us the history of the farm and town, make recommendations, and chat with us... More

Catheroyan House is the perfect place to relax, while you explore beautiful Southern Ireland. John and Barbara are friendly, warm and very welcoming. The rooms in the B&B are clean and well furnished. The bed was extremely comfortable. Barbara cooked wonderful Irish breakfasts and there was also a selection of breads, cereals etc. The farm was an added bonus enabling... More
