Such a lovely place to holiday. We went towards the end of August and the place was deserted. Le Puzelle is set in a very tranquil pocket of San Severina. Down to earth yet very warm and hospitable. The chef will cook anything you ask for provided you give him a days notice so he can purchase the ingredients in... More

If you want to have a perfect taste of Calabria, blending beautiful sea, thousands of years of history (city center up the hill), amazing mountains (sila mountains) all withing 30 minutes drive! choose this place. The hospitality is simply perfect (it is run by a family of professionals ) and the restaurant is absolutely up to the task to show... More

This was so very close to a 5 star... Just needed a new mattress on the bed. The room was huge and very attractive and clean. The situation is perfect - quiet, lovely views, walk to the beautiful hill top village (steep). It is perfect having a very good restaurant on site so no need to drive. Great chef. Plenty... More

Absolutely one of the most beautiful, charming and relaxing places I ever been in the south of Italy. If you want to be in the middle of nature smelling fruits trees around you and not able to hear the sound of civilization whatsoever, this is the place. Only a few minutes by car from the coast and from the historical... More

We were there in April with our three kids and stayed there for two nights. We chose Le Puzzelle mainly because of two points: first of all it is an Agriturismo (and we know and like that way of staying in the countryside) and second: due to its close position both to the sea and to the mountains. Unfortunately mainly... More

Beautifully situated in the country setting with the hilltop town and castle behind. The olive trees, ravine, and views in all direction were magnificent. The room was spacious. Breakfast was sweets, fresh fruits, jams from the surrounding orchard. For supper, the resident chef ( with his own cookbook) was extremely helpful in explaining the delicious foods that we were eating.... More

This is a fabulous farmhouse hotel with glorious restaurant. The hotel is a 25 minute walk from the central piazza of a medieval town set stunningly on a hilltop with terrific views across the mountains and valleys in eastern Calabria. A warm welcome from the staff and an unpretentious clean, smart and comfortable room set in the old barn. As... More

Last week we spent 3 nights @Le Puzelle. Just when you think you are in 'no mans land' you reach this 'oasis'! Nice owner, beautiful terrace and swimming pool, perfect cook (Salvatore sells his recipes ;-) ) and nice towns around for daytrips.

My husband and I stayed three nights at Le Puzelle in early April 2012, and it was wonderful. The room was spacious, comfortable, quiet and charming, and the grounds and countryside were beautiful. The first night we asked for a reference to a restaurant in town, and Giuliano gave us the name of the one open restaurant in Santa Severina... More

My wife, myself, our son, and daughter-in-law spent 3 relaxing days at this family-run agriturismo. The purpose of our visit was to spend time with relatives in Santa Severina where my grandmother was born. The rooms were comfortable and spacious with a view of this magical city on a rock. A delicious breakfast was served in the courtyard above the... More
