While staying at Spion Kop Lodge/Game Reserve, my niece took us to Cathedral Peak. Quite an interesting drive to the Peak thru the mountains. We saw baboons and vervit monkeys along the way. Many homes of the people that live in that region. Very intersting drive and lovely to say the leaset, once we arrived to the Peak we toured... More

Five days of pampering where all our needs were catered for. The hotel continues to deliver a consistent high standard in all areas with staff that are both friendly and competent. Not many other establishments can beat the hotel's setting - fresh air and the wonderful views are just the answer for one wanting to escape the city. We will... More

Old school but cool. Pay a bit more for the executive suite. Definitely worth the bucks. Massive room with unreal views. Big TV. Spa bath and everything else you may need. Great food. Great service. Hiking was the highlight.

My 9 year old son and I had a great weekend at Cathedral Peak in March. We were treated to welcome drinks and finger snacks. Supper was great, the menus changed daily so we were always pleasantly surprised. The Quad biking on Saturday was amazing, taking in the sights was breathtaking. Daily breakfast was divine. The room was so beautiful and always kept... More

We stayed at CPH for a few days enroute to the Kalahari as a family of four. Having stayed here a number of times in my childhood it maintained the memories and at the same time created some for my children. It is the quintessential family Berg resort with hosts of onsite activities to keep all ages occupied from bowls... More

Situated within a National Heritage Site, this hotel welcomed us as day guests and allowed us to the explore the grounds, read the historical write-ups of the Hotel's heritage and enjoy the views from the coffee shop balcony overlooking the mountains...

My sister and I stayed at Cathedral Peak for 3 nights with my aunt who is in her 80's and has some mobility challenges. The whole stayed worked out great - manageable for her, with enough options that we be active. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Meals lovely. The accommodations worked out very well.

Food was amazing, service very good and everything done to make a very enjoyable holiday. Our kids were a bit old for the children's area but they were accepted in the main dining area, which was ok but would have preferred some adult time.... There was loads for them to do though during the day and it was safe enough... More

We had a wonderful few days at Cathedral peak hotel . The staff and the food and the accomodation is outstanding . The walks around the hotel are really beautiful and accommodate all levels of fitness. Unfortunately we had to cut our visit short and the hotel gave us a voucher for the day we had to forfeit. We were... More
