This is probably the worst hotel I've been to so far. Not only because the building is from the 60's but also because the staff were so unprofessional and careless. We got a two individual beds room when we clearly specified we wanted a double bed when we booked it. Once we arrived the receptionist (a blonde 50 year old...

It has good sized rooms and spacious common areas. You can eat in a bar which could be in the Tyrol or more formally in the adjacent dining room. There is...

This is conveniently located just north of Madrid, ideal for Segovia and Pedraza without paying top tourist rates. The room was fine, the bar comfortable and we had an excellent dinner of roast suckling pig.

After a terrible experience in “villa” La Paloma (see separate review), we moved to the lovely Hotel Gacelas. The hotel is 10-15 mins walk to the centre of the village. There is an outside pool with beautiful views to the mountains, a games room and a restaurant listed in the Michelin guide. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. There...
