Beverley farm and the old homestead, are the only remaining parts of the original substantial piece of land called Beverley and is situated on a hilltop in the quiet, remote end of the Dargle Valley in The Kwa Zulu Natal Midlands, with magnificent views of the rolling countryside all around. Expansive lush green lawns and tidy gardens are well cared for, surrounding paddocks stock a small herd of friendly Nguni cattle and a couple of magnificent horses. The large variety of Azalea bushes together with the Yellow woods and 2 magnificent old Oak trees bring a feeling of nostalgia to the place, taking you back in time. Welcome to Beverley Country Cottages, we have 4 delightful self catering cottages set in the beautiful Dargle valley of the Natal Midlands of South Africa. The old Hay barn, Stables and Dairy were converted into the present day self catering cottages and Kate and Garry Kelly who bought Beverley in 2009, renamed the small business, Beverley Country Cottages. Ideal for families, honeymooners or for some peace and quiet away from it all, there are 4 different cottages, all varying in size and capacity. The larger cottages have 3 bedrooms each and can sleep up to 7 guests. The Dairy is a two bedroom cottage and the Hayloft has one bedroom. With flexibility always on the cards, extra children can be accommodated on sleeper couches. 2 Beautiful double rooms are available in the East Wing of the old stone homestead which are offered with a hearty farm breakfast full of all the trimmings!
