We waited and kept calling this hotel for 1 hour after we get off the boat. We informed our arrival time few days before arrival. The Hotel replied that we can find their Cafe near the port to arrange shuttle. We arrive on time however...More
This hotel seems to have an identity crisis. If it is meant to be a useful stopping off point for hill walkers, then I am sure it ticks all the boxes. If it is meant to be a romantic destination for couples then it only...More
My wife and I stayed for two nights in the Castle Suite and could not have been more pleased. The views from the room and the dining areas were spectacular, and the atmosphere anywhere on the property was exactly what we were hoping for. The...More
My daughter and I spent 2 nights in one of the rooms overlooking the Rhine. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful view and our room was very clean and comfortable. The only downside to the room was the train noise at night. We...More
Stayed 1 night in the castle suite at the begining of May.

thank you for your question. There are outlets available in every room, so it should be no problem to plug the breathing machine in even without an extension cord. If needed we can also provide you with an extension cord. Please be aware of the different power plugs used in the US and in Germany. Beside the form of the power plug it is important to check if your machine can handle the voltage disparity or if you need a voltage converter. Standard voltage in Germany is 220-240 volts whereas in North America it is 110/120-volts.
Regarding the parking: If neccesary you can drive your car right in front of the entrance. The parking lot is also right next to castle (max 50 meters to walk). So there is no need to leave your car in town. The drive up to the castle is just a bit steep which can be a bit scary the first time but it's not difficult nor dangerous.
Anyhow, if you decide to leave your car further down the road, just give us a call and we'll pick you up. It's totally safe to leave your rental car anywhere aroud here.
I hope I could answer you question. If you need further information please don't hesitate to ask us!
