Cheap and basic. Attention from staff varied. Excellent welcome but blanked at breakfast which incidentally was a very limited choice. I asked for something to eat on arrival and eventually convinced the staff (at 8pm) that I really was hungry! The hotel site says it is a 3-star place. We had a reservation for 1 night incl. breakfast. We arrived at around 7pm, the front door table said it had been closed. We rang the reception and the restaurant. Few minutes later someone came and showed a room, which was on the first floor (no elevator, no luggage transport, cold... More

We stayed here last year for a week, very clean great food staff very good ,it's very handy to speak Hungarian or German as that is the main language but some speak english.had a large room in the front with a balcony,and it is very handy for bonyhad one minute walk to penny supermarket and Tesco

This was actually a few years ago... A last minute decision to travel from Budapest to Bonyhad on Friday evening left me in Bonyhad very early Saturday morning with nowhere to stay. we went there in febuary ,fantastic hotel ,very friendly staff ,had a private birthday party for friends and family ,well looked after staff went out of the way to help ,even when leaving weighting the bags to make sure right weight so canot prase the hotel and staff recomend it to all

Hungary is a difficult country to choose the right address for a good bed and/or good food. I stayed here one night. The hotel is very nice, it is clean and well maintained. Rooms are large and the bed is comfortable. Staff are pleasant. I would certainly return again.
