Nice and friendly staff. Good breakfast, but the same one every day... Close to the city. Right on the lake. A big, comfortable and clean room. Big spa area with a beautiful view from the hot tub. Very green and Special village .

The BL YachtClub has a good quality, tasteful atmosphere. Our room was nicely decorated, with a small view of the water and just a few signs of age. The shoreline is small but there’s enough beach to enter the lake and the property’s views and grounds are really beautiful. Breakfast was decent and the wait staff were very pleasant. The on-site restaurant was okay. The wellness area would have been exceptional except it was overrun with more than 20 kids under age 6 who were attending a birthday party. They really should find a way to separate the adults and kids, otherwise it’s impossible to feel relaxed. A little off-putting was their arrangement with ERSTE Bank and the local Audi dealership to allow their salespersons on site. When I’m paying for a vacation, I shouldn’t be advertised to or approached. Also, there were dead bugs on the ceiling of our room which the last guest had squashed. We let the reception staff know and they perfunctorily said they'll tell the cleaning crew. I guess the next guest will find out! There wasn't shampoo or shower gel or a bottle opener in the room, so bring your own! All-in-all, we were happy enough with our choice. It might be a bit less nice if its more crowded; we were there on a cloudy, cool weekend.

We spent 2 nights in appartment. It was big and comfortable. Location is quite good and yach port is nice. Kids liked swimming pool and lake. Brakefast was disaster. Dirty plates and glasses, old ham, owful coffee. Next time rather other location with better services.

We were hosted this place in July for 4 days. We rented the apartment through airbnb nd our host was wonderful and very helpful. He reacted to our emails immediately and gave us answers. His apartment is in the main.building where the reception and the restaurant is. It was clean and fully equipped. Well maintained. The ladies at the reception were helpful all the time and ready to answer for our questions. The bar next to the pool offers great cafe and drinks. We spent most of time next to that wonderful pool. There are a lot of families with children so in case you do not want to be surrounded by children it is not gonna be your place. The view ,the sunset is beautiful. I loved to drink a coffee on the terrace after the Breakfast. They offer a wide range of selection of food what you can choose from. The only thing what I can bring up as a negative is the staff in the restaurant especially the guys. We had some issues with them. So the service there is horrible. One time they even said to us to go back and grab our coffee which is unacceptable in a place like that!!! We ordered them.in the bar not from the machine. Also it happened that the guy instead of putting the coffee nicely in the table nearly through it on with a pissed off face. Regardless these incidents we had a fantastic time and once again thank you to Balazs who was our host 😉🙂

We were here with my girlfriend this week. What can i say at first that we expected more than what we had...bc we paid not small price. Location is really good, nice place, and really nice view on yacht harbor. Another positive is nice area around apparetmens. But on the other side, for that amount of € we tought that this will be one of the best accomodations in this location...reality is different. On at appartmen we dont have clima (but we paid for it) ,only 2 small towels, and as a bonus LOTS OF SPIDERS everywhere. Quality of breakfavast was average..but ok. I cant imagaine eat here more than 3days. Private beach is near cca 50m ...nice small beach. At area you have private parking, but you must be fast and smart ...bc there ist more cars than parking place. So result is we expection better rooms, breakfast, better shower, clima than for what we paid. This is something between 2 - 3*

Stayed here for 5 nights in a Villa Apartment. My daughter loved the pool outside, and the indoor ones too, when it was raining one day. The bar staff next to the pool was very nice, my daughter loved the hot dog there. Breakfast was also nice in their restaurant, wide selection and filling. They have two course lunch meal option every day, we didn`t try it as we travelled a little bit around Lake Balaton every day, but seen the menu everyday and sometimes felt sorry for missing it. Will definitely return, and highly recommend.

So I found myself being dragged back to the sleepy lakeside village of Balatonlelle for another week of sun, sun, and yet even more sun, punctuated by moments of bad pizza, cotton candy, and lake algae. But this year, instead of renting a "villa" (I use that term a bit loosely in Hungary), I opted to stay at the BL YachtClub & Apartments. We were appointed to stay in one of their stand-alone apartments, which, I must admit, was cleanish, comfortablesque, and nicely furnished with cute, mid range IKEA furniture. Truth be told, BL YachtClub is the closest thing to a family resort you're going to find in Balatonlelle. And it delivers reasonably well in terms of providing a full day's worth of activities for families. There is a kiddy pool; an adult pool; fitness center; beach area; bikes-for-hire; a restaurant; snack bar; and one of the cutest little marinas you've never seen. We even hired a boat and went sailing for a day, which was a great way to break up the monotony of the sun and pool. The included breakfast left a lot to be desired, and the in-room wifi didn't work, but if you're looking to stay somewhere in Balatonlelle that's less horrible than most of the hovels that are available in the region, I highly recommend BL Yachtclub.

Pro: - Great idea and possibility to sleep on a boat in the Balatonlelle Yachtclub - Nice and new pools for adults and children - Friendly stuff - Very good Restaurant - Private beach Contra: - Parking was included in the booking, but unfortunately they have more bookings then parking place which leads to the fact that you need to search for a place outside on the street - of course without security - The boot is quite old and was definitely not in the best condition, cobwebs and spiders all over the place, no sunblind on the entire boat and no seat cushions at all - the best one...you are not allowed to join your babies and toddler in the childpool. Our three year old son should swim on this own, was the friendly announcement of the pool attendant. After I explained that he can not swim and there might a risk that he will slip, the attendant educated me and said that this would of course be a special case, in which I might be allowed to jump in the pool to help my son to get up again...Of course I asked for the reason for this special rule - I was again quite surprise :) adults in general have so many bacteria that it would be a risk for the children...

We went there with family (2 kids) for 3 days. This was also a test to come back in August 2018 with the whole family. We had a nice apartment with a beautiful view on the lake. This is quite expensive place for Hungary and we expected much more at the end. The outside pools were out of service for cleaning but we were not informed in advance. The breakfast is really poor quality at the restaurant and if you ask for a coffee, you have to pay extra. (This is fine, as this is not a hotel). Same thing for an extra towel you need to pay. On the check out we asked to stay 1hour more, it was accepted after a few minutes (even if there are not too many people coming here at this time of the year), but the receptionist might have forgotten to tell the cleaning lady, as we were in the indoor pools when they cleaned the room and took the few things we let in the fridge..including a bottle of milk for the baby, and a fresh packed ham..we had to ask to get the bottle back..no compensation, just a quick excuse..(and nothing about the ham, maybe disappeared). Overall the service is not at the level of such a location, with this price you expect much more. Nice area, but you see that there isn't too much investment to keep the quality of the area (indoor pool a little bit deteriorated, same thing for some parts of the main building or the wooden grating going to the lakesides, the reception glass door broken..)
