After having to stay at another hotel in the area, we booked this hotel for our last visit. We were very impressed with how clean and open everything was. After experiencing the last hotel, we could hardly wait to see the rooms. I opened the door and we both smiled and said “ yes “. The rooms were larger than we expected, filled with light, the bathroom was modern and there was a water cooker with coffee and tee there ( what the last hotel promised but didn’t offer ). We didn’t eat in the evening but enjoyed the breakfast twice. Everything was there. We will stay here again next time.
To be fair, we did stay there in August--this area may generally be cool enough that air conditioning is not usually needed. It was cool outside, so we opened the window but this did not help at all--there was no breeze to circulate the air into the room. Our room also faced the setting sun, so opening the curtain allowed the sun to shine in. Also there was road noise with the window open and lots of spiders around the window area. The hotel is away from the city of Aarhus but access to the city is easy if you have a car. There is plenty of parking. The room and bath was large, clean, well maintained--mattress and bedding were comfortable. The bathtub was very very slippery--I fell in it. The breakfast was good. Decor in my opinion was a little outdated and there were large odd sculptures of figures in the lobby and halls--many people seem to love the decor however.…
My first stay at the Montra and just as expected, excited for a second visit hopefully not too far in the future. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the room was very large, and the are plentiful activities including playground, games, fireplaces, gym, massages and more. During my holiday the staff all went the extra mile and it was very much appreciated. Perfect hotel, and will surely be back!
Fantastic lovely hotel ..two-story with elevator...just 20 min. outside Aarhus...lovely large, quiet room and immaculate clean room with a comfortable bed, sitting area and an awesome bathroom with both shower and tub ..large secure parking area in the back....lovely dining room where we had a superb dinner...staff very friendly and helpful...their breakfast buffet is extensive...we enjoyed our stay and will for sure stay there again....
We stayed at the Sabro Kro for a stopover. Very friendly staff at reception, huge parking lot directly in front of the house. Hotel seems to focus on conferences / seminars: Many rooms, seem to be more or less identical. Room interior could be named "scandinavian style" - bright colours, wooden surfaces / furniture - we liked it! As we like quite hotels we were lucky that only a few rooms seemed to be booked. You probably would not like to be there when it´s fully booked ... Breakfast buffet also very good! Note: This is the feedback for the hotel only - please stay away from the restaurant - see separate feedback there!
The hotel is located about 20-25 minutes by car from Aarhus city center, basically in the middel of nowhere. There are some shops (food, pizzeria etc) between the hotel and Aarhus. The hotel is nice and clean. Everything else is average. The rooms are average, the food is average minus (no options for allergies etc) and the location is average. The hotel has got a small playground in the back, and some games inside the lobby area. (pool, table tennis) The biggest problem for us was that it was really hot outside (25-35 degrees Celcius), and the rooms does not have air conditioning. Someone from the hotel replied in a comment on tripadvisor that they have fans in all rooms, but this is not the case. We asked in the reception twice, and was told that they have "a few table fans", but none available for our entire stay. When asking about the tripadvior comment they said the guy who wrote this was on vacation and "we don't know what he was thinking". We had major problems sleeping in the hot and humid room. The beds are also quite hard.…
We stayed here one night. The property is very well maintained. The room was immaculate. Very large with a sitting area, comfortable bed and large bathroom. There was both a tub and separate shower. Although a few minutes out of town, it was well worth the trip. One of the nicest modern properties we've stayed at. Breakfast buffet was extensive. If you're in this area, stay here...you won't be disappointed. Staff at the front desk is wonderful...very well managed property.
This popular place for business travelers serve good food and the staff is friendly and service minded. I ordered a special menu before arrival and everything was ready. Also for big groups this place is very nice, the atmosphere and surroundings are perfect for a celebration
I spent 2nights in this hotel with a small conference. The hotel, although not brand new, was super comfy (rooms included bathrubs and showers) with an efficient and kind service and great food.To be recommended!
Very good hotel close to Århus. We stayed for a weekend and enjoyed it very much. Check in was fast. The room was very nice, spacious and clean. We had a room with twin beds. The madras was a bit hard and the pillow not so comfortable but that was the only negative thing. The atmosphere is really nice, calm and relaxing. Breakfast was good, huge selection of different things and a nice coffee. This was a really positive experience and I would stay again if ever in the area.
