There were seven people in our group, three adults, one teenager and three children. We all had the most wonderful stay at hotel Flora. It is a family run hotel and the owners Luca and Katherine are nota 10, superb! The place has a very warm and cozy atmosphere. We all felt very comfortable and at home. The children loved... More

The Kerrs from Edinburgh stayed at Hotel Flora and we had amazing time we just returned yesterday. Luca and the staff were great and the food at the hotel was amazing every night. Katherine was also great from the start of our booking to telling us what was on in the village. Fabo and Luca were our ski instructors and... More

This hotel seems to be a family run situation more like a B&B than hotel chain. The hotel seems to be in line with most that we encountered on The Tour du Monte Rosa. Not a great situation but not sure if there are any better options in this town. I believe the family that runs the hotel lives there... More

We were on our 3rd visit to the Flora, but the first without the teenagers. We wanted to rest eat and ski in that order. Surprised abount some of the negative comments on this site so thought that we would give a view of our experiences. The room we had we have had before. It was spacious, warm and above... More

We stayed at the Albergo Flora while doing the Tour du Monte Rosa. We compressed the Tour into 4 days walking which necessitated early starts (c 6.30am). The other hotels we stayed at were very accommodating about this and either left out breakfast or got up early to open the breakfast room. The lady running the Flora was unhelpful and... More

We stayed at the Hotel Flora March 2010 and had a fabulous time. There was a mixed group of 9 and we all stayed half board. The food was nice with good portions. The skiing is fantastic and we are going again next year. We have been going to Macugnaga for around 10 years now and it never gets boring

Ideal for those who do not want too much night life, but good skiing and company. The ski instruction is very good aswell, for any ability.

We stayed at the Hotel Flora which is a family run hotel for a week in feb for a skiing holiday with my sister and her 3 children. The first thing that strikes you when you arrive in the village is the location of the hotel and picture postcard view of Monte Rosa mountain .The hotel appears to be the main...
