Splendid hotel with really good food and hoteliers. Been going for years now and have stayed in quite a few of the hotels. The Signal is a great hotel run by Claudio and is in probably the best position for the ski slopes and watering holes. Everything you need within easy reach if walking. Rooms are perfect and quite large... More

Macugnaga is a gioello of a place offering some challenging winter skiing and summer hikes. The Signal Hotel and restaurant is the perfect complement to the village, small, quiet, friendly, clean, warm, unpretentious and so utterly charming! This place is highly recommended. Also incredibly dog friendly. Try a "Fil de Fer" night cap to keep out the winter chill.

We have just returned from a fantastic few days at the Hotel Signal. We have been here for a number of stays and always had the best service you could hope for. The scenery never ceases to amaze us, to see the Pink Mountains is truly amazing but you have to be there to really appreciate it. Claudio and Anna... More

We are three families that have just returned to Sweden after spending a week in Macugnaga, staying at Hotel Signal. On top of the fact that the weather was gorgeous and the village is lovely with two great ski systems, our stay at Hotel Signal was more then perfect. Claudio and his family runs the hotel in the most professional,... More

The Hotel is very nice and very clean, the room is small but it is cute, it is a 3 stars but it is worth the money and it is not expensive at all. The restaurant is very nice and the food is very good. The Area is very quiet and surrounded with beautiful scenery.

We were a group of 5 bedraggled ski tourers doing the Tour of Monte Rosa. An 11.5 hour trip from Alagna meant we needed collecting late in Borca. Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely family who own this hotel. A car was sent, no stress about being late for dinner. Hot water, delicious food and lovely smiles. Our... More
