We rented two trullis with a private pool in between, idea for four guests. The trullis are well maintained with good furnishings and high specifications (although no air con) but it was the private pool that really made the visit special. There is lots of garden furniture to laze around or eat at even for four guests. Our trulli had a kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher and big fridge which meant we could drive into local towns for dinner (Locorotondo or Martina Franca) or provide for ourselves in the trulli. When we arrived we were met by the friendly landlady, Rosanna, who showed us around and gave us advice on the things to do in the local area. Recommended.
This was our second visit to Trulli Angela. Last time was only 5 nights. This time we made sure we had longer... And 2 weeks was still not enough. We didn't want to leave. The accommodation and location are first class. Locorotondo is truly stunning. The area is fabulous. Loads to see and do. Perfectly positioned for sightseeing, but in the midst of countryside. But what makes this place stand head and shoulders above anywhere else we've stayed is Rosanna. She is something special. She makes your holiday as perfect as she possibly can. Every holiday home should have a Rosanna! We left promising to return again.... I'm sure we will 😉
We used this place as a base to explore the region. Rosanna, the owner was just fantastic, nothing was too much of a hassle, whether it be a restaurant suggestion or supplying milk. The Trulli we stayed in had 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine ... did not want for anything. Clean and comfy, just great. We didn’t use the pool, but there is one of those as well. There is a Conad Supermarket just down the road in Alberobello that has a great deli and wine shop. Buy your antipasto and wine and sit outside in your courtyard and enjoy the absolute quite of your surroundings. This is a place that we will return to.
This place and host are both amazing. We stayed 4 nights with our two boys (10 and 7) and it felt too short.
We arrived late and Rosanna insisted on going out to get pizza for our family so we did not need to worry about going out and finding food. She was amazing and made sure we had a great stay, recommending cities and an olive farm to visit. She brought over maps and is just an all around great person. Thank you so much.
The Trulli itself was perfect for our family - 3 beds and baths and nicely remodeled. The grounds and pool were well kept. The location is great for driving to many of the towns and lidos at the beach.
Definitely go visit the olive farm that is ~20 minutes drive and walk around 2,000 year old trees if you are staying here.
I cannot compliment Rosanna enough on the wonderful oasis she has created with Trulli Angela! The location, the quality of the Trulli construction and special attention and detail to the interior decor all made this a perfect holiday! I cannot wait to return next year and plan on staying in Trullo dell'Ulivo which is stunning and very spacious for a family of 4. I loved our day trips to Alberobello, Matera, Ostuni, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli and Cisternino. Be sure to eat at Pizzeria Casa Pinto in Locorotondo, Antico Borgo in Cisternino and definitely go to Punta Prosciutto for a beach day and stay at Togo Bay beach club. Pricey but worth it! Last but not least, I cannot conclude without mentioning that Rosanna's kindness and help throughout our holiday really is what makes this place so special. I left Locorotondo knowing I had made a new special friend! :-) Thanks Rosanna for the lovely week!!!

Hello Shirley! Sorry for the delay in answering! Trulli Angela, like Masseria Rochelle, are not too far from the town, 1 km, but from Trulli Angela is quite dark, so I highly recommend to drive to the town, instead from Masseria Rochelle there are more light along the way, and it could be not so bad to walk to the town!
Hope you will have a pleasant stay in Locorotondo!
