We stayed in the lodge on the advice of friends in South Africa. We were not disappointed and had five star treatment from the moment we entered the lodge. Mike the game ranger who took us on three games demonstrated not just a deep knowledge of the species and the landscape we were in, but also proved to be a... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in August. We had an amazing time, we saw 4 of the big 5. The Rhinos were the best, but also loved the lions. We had an amazing guide Marta-lize, she was so enthusiastic and knew so much about the animals. The food was lovely and plenty of it. Tents are amazing, electric blankets... More

We booked this lodge by the recommendation from a Durbin local. As a couple we may have not booked this place on our own as they allow families but after our experience the family atmosphere added to it's charm, simplicity and joy. We absolutely enjoyed our time at Springbok. Our tent was very comfortable and serene. The dinners were delicious... More

Excellent break from the city life. We had won a 2 night midweek stay at the lodge a very awesome prize. Our hostess/ranger Bronwyn was really good, very friendly and knowledgeable, got to see 4 of the big 5.The rooms are great as is the food and service. Had our anniversary whilst there and were spoilt with a bath filled... More

We were in a tour group, so couldn't choose our own room. We stayed in Nr 41, very cold room, which could be nice in summer! The TV didn't work, no shower and the hand shower didn't work. The heat setting in the Aircon didn't work either. A full length mirror would be nice! Room was clean, but very basic!

We really enjoyed our stay at Nambiti, especially the amazing hospitality. Our game ranger William was exceptional in his knowledge of the bush, wonderful humour and enthusiasm. He catered for our special interests and in two game drives William identified over fifty five different bird species. We will definitely request to have the same ranger next time!

I was overwhelmed by the experience offered at Springbok Lodge. From arrival through to departure, the service, food, accommodation and staff were first-class. Personally, I can not give enough praise to our ranger Kiegan. Not only was he full of knowledge about the reserve and its inhabitants, he was friendly and went over and above to ensure our adventures were... More
