We were a party of seven, who stayed here from 4 - 7 January 2017. From the time we arrived, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The accommodation was excellent, along with the food and drink, and game drives. Steph, our guide, was amazing. The Chef was outstanding, and the remainder of the...

Nice enough but not good enough. Staff wonderful except no barman and only one waiter. Beautiful setting and rooms nice but not very clean. We had no hot water and no way of contacting staff at 9 at night. Cockaroaches in bathroom and drains smelly. Game ranger was very good - really impressed. Food ok - not much choice. Price...

We have just come back from a three night stay at Elephant Rock which was once again awesome. We have lost count on how many times we have stayed there and everytime it is time for us to leave we try and stay another night but unfortunately more people are coming in and we can't extend our stay. We have...

What a wonderfully special place to stay - a highlight of our family stay in South Africa! (and we stayed in many places all over the country). From the very moment that we arrived we were made to feel so welcome by the effervescent Lee-ann and her team. Food was an absolute delight, rooms excellent and Graeme our Guide was...

I'm torn between telling everyone honestly what an amazing place this is and keeping quiet, so that we'll be able to book again easily next year! What sets this lodge apart is the fantastic team who run it - nothing is too much trouble for them and, as other reviewers have said, you are treated like royalty from the moment...

Directions to Elephant Rock Lodge are spot on. The warm, bubbly greeting by Leanne immediately makes you feel you're going to enjoy this stay. And we did! Our lodge had so much space. Fabulous outdoor swinging chairs overlooking the water hole, outdoor shower for two, enormous bathroom, very comfy bed and bedroom. And if that's not enough the property includes...

I was there with my family for 3 nights and we were spoiled and treated like royalty from the time they picked us up at the car park until we were dropped off at the car park again for our departure. The food was absolutely stunning, the rooms awesome, the game drives was so amazing I did not skip one...

What an experience!!! Whenever you are going to Nambiti, this is the place to go! Very intimate experience (they take a max of 8 people), so staff is extremely friendly and know you by name. Food is out of this world and more than enough for even the hungriest of men out there. Game drives very early at morning and...

By far one of the best breaks we have ever had. Everything from the time arrival to departure was exceptional - that includes the cheeky 'Piet-my-vrou' that enjoyed the sound of its own call. Our thanks to every member of staff for the experience.
