Excellent weekend away in a spacious modern clean room overlooking the estuary. Although binoculars are advertised as being in every room, ours lacked them, it didn't matter to us, the view was pleasant enough. Good English breakfast to start the day, although the black pudding was a little bit tough. Friendly staff and very apologetic when we couldn't have a... More

This is a superb hotel in a lovely location. We were given the Yealand Room which was very nice with a comfortable bed and a great view of the Estuary. We arrived on the Friday which was Steak Night and must say that our food was lovely, washed down with the free bottle of red wine which was part of... More

Stayed here on the last night of our holiday - got an excellent mid week deal and the room was fantastic. Stunning views over the estuary, huge room, comfortable and lots of little details like binoculars for bird watching. Pub restaurant was good - standard pub menu but tasty and well priced. Hotel and pub staff were unfailingly friendly and... More

Looking for somewhere to stay on our way back from Kent to Glasgow. Found this last minute treasure that overlooks the Kent Estuary. The room was perfect, and the bed comfortable and very clean. Our find also included a full English breakfast. We didn't get a chance to sample the dinner menu because we arrived a little to late (it... More

I arrived at 2-30pm to be told that my room was not ready so I had a wander around the village. It is a very peaceful and lovely place. Prices are a little high. The pub does food but I did not partake in any. When my room was ready I found that it was at the top of the... More

I booked for 17 people for 1 night. We all had great rooms and service. We booked a meal for the evening we arrived and this was served hot and well presented. The next morning we all enjoyed a full English before we headed off on our travels. I would recommend this hotel and I am sure Tony will ensure... More

Just returned from an overnight stay at this hotel/pub. We paid extra for an estuary view room. We were given a room on the second floor on the corner with lush views of the river. The room wasn't very big and the shower was a bit small for us but it was spotless clean and the bed was very comfy.... More
