Incredibly accommodating and warm staff who were flexible with our late arrival and early departure. We didn't stay for breakfast, but the owners were kind enough to leave out some cereal and juice for us. Great location and beautiful room!

Couldn't be more pleased with this luxurious stay in this lovely part of Ireland. Bedroom just sumptuous and warm and cosy. A lively family home where we were warmly welcomed. The garden was enchanting and we were so close to the Bunranty Castle. Breakfast a feast to delight in. Lively fruits and delicious smoked salmon.

Highbury House is BEAUTIFUL! Rosemary and John Ormston are wonderful hosts. We stayed 2 days at the beginning of our 2 week trip. We loved it so much we returned for 2 more days at the end of our trip. Our Double Ensuite room had a king size bed, lovely artwork and furnishings with beautiful details, fresh flowers, tea /... We were so blessed finding this wonderful five star place, it should be a 10 star! No stairs to climb, all one level, beautiful, large sitting area with fireplace. You may get lost looking at all the various rooms of interest. We rested so well in the very quiet countryside with beautiful grounds, and my wife loved the heated mattress... More

The Highbury House is right off the N18, however the traffic noise does not reach the house. The rooms are lovely, clean and warm. The decor of the B&B makes you feel at home immediately. Rosemary is a very kind host and her cooking was delicious. The B&B offers a play room for kids as well. Locationally, the Highbury House... More

The lovely and historic Highbury House is right on the N18, which means you might drive right by it at high speed (which we did, more than once, especially after dark!). Once you get the hang of where it is located, it's easy to find. I think a larger sign in front would help improve findability (again...especially after dark) Rosemary... More

Just off the N18 and a short drive from Bunratty Castle is Highbury House. Good signage on the road and easy to find. Don't be deterred because it's on the N18. It sits far enough off the road that you wouldn't even know the cars are out there. A lovely home, Rosemary and Jack will welcome you with a smile,... More

We stayed here for one night last week and we were made to feel so very welcome. Room was so pretty and the breakfast was the best we had in Ireland. Jack and Rosemary were beyond kind and Rosemary even kindly ran us to the Restaurant we had picked for dinner. The gardens of their beautiful home are stunning and... More

*****5 STAR SERVICE! The sweetest couple EVER, they went out of their way to accommodate us! My Sister and I stayed at the Highbury House for two nights last week (March 2015) and couldn't be happier with our stay. We had mentioned to the hostess that we were worried about printing out our boarding passes for our flight and returned... More

We stayed here for two nights and found the house to be very nice and spacious. Our room was the largest of any of the places at which we stayed during our visit. The breakfasts were delicious and the hosts were very friendly, although given the opportunity had a lot of stories to tell. The only downside is that the... More
