Stayed overnight while on a foodie road trip through the region & picked this property based on TripAdvisor reviews & could not be more pleased with the decision. Although the property was hosting what appeared to be some sort of wedding celebration & couldn't accommodate us in the restaurant, they fixed a fabulous meal for my friend & I - served in my room - this saved us from having to get out on a rainy night in an unfamiliar area. As noted in other reviews, the rooms are large, clean & quiet. I hope that my travels will take me back to Collegno soon so that I can stay at Agriturismo La Sforzata again.

After staying several times in four-star hotels nearby, I selected this place as none of the previous experiences had been satisfactory.
My choice proved to be an outstanding, absolutely positive, surprise. This place has not only a better price/quality ratio, which wouldn't be surprising given the much lower prices, but it would be better even if it had the same price as those hotels. That is, as long as you don't care about the collateral bells and whistles of standard hotels like cheap hand creams or hair conditioners.
I've been here twice and I've selected this place as my "Turin residence" whenever I have to be in that area for business reasons. So far, I have been here twice.
The rooms are clean, spacious, with a kitchenette so that you can also use them as apartments for longer stays.
The restaurant is delicious and several people go there just for dinner, as it is well known for the quality of its food and wine.
Breakfast is served in the room and it is a classic Italian breakfast, which for international travellers translates into "continental".
The heater/aircon system works perfectly, and the area is so quiet that it's an excellent spot where to relax and have a proper sleep after and/or before a busy day at work.
When you first get here, be aware that it can't be properly located by most online or offline maps/GPS systems, so make sure you pick the right numeric coordinates from the hotel website. If you prefer spoken driving instructions, call the management and ask for directions. From the main road you'll have to turn towards an unpaved road with a worrying sign "private road ahead", but even if the road is not paved it is in good conditions as it serves multiple private houses.
The only minor drawback is that the room's TV set is a really old CRT TV. When they will replace those aging TVs with even the cheapest LCD TV with HDMI input, this place would even be better than the 5 stars out of five that it deserves right now.

If you are driving and want to stop in Torino, you may enjoy a quiet night in a perfectly clean and hospitable house. It is close to La Venaria and not far from the places to visit in town. Rooms are big, fully equipped kitchens, comfortable beds, plenty of towels. One would not expect such a lovely countryside place just out of the highway and so many malls. We spent a good night after a home made dinner : we did our shopping in one of the huge supermarkets nearby. Breakfast was brought to us the following morning, so abundant (cakes, biscuits, all sorts of preserves, butter, fruit juices, etc..) that we could not finish. The service is so friendly that one feels more at home than in a commercial place. We highly recommend La Sforzata for any type of travellers.
