Keith and Antoinette are the perfect hosts. Friendly, attentive and a fountain of knowledge about the local area and all things French. They are also incredibly helpful if you want advice or recommendations (as we did) as to where to go next. The area is fabulous whether you want long drives in rugged mountainous terrain, spectacular gorges, amazing forests, castles... More

A wonderful place recommended by a local. We were made very welcome with a garden English tea and scones (Devon style) and a glass of wine before we went out. Lovely rooms, well renovated. Lovely place to be. Breakfast served in the garden with a wide choice - available in the kitchen / diner. English family run business. Very helpful... More

If you want to totally unwind and relax, this is the place for you. The location is superb - in the middle of Alet-les-bains, a very charming French village, two minutes walk to the gorgeous ruined abbey that you must absolutely visit, and close to all teh Cathar castles. The b&b is a lovely big manor house with very airy... More

We spent 4 weeks driving thru France and Spain and I have to say that having dinner with Antoinette and Keith and the other guests in their garden is one of the fondest memories of our trip. They have lovingly restored this home to make it a place that welcomes strangers and very quickly turns then into friends. They are... More

A lovely B&B. Hosts Antoinette and Keith couldn't have been more welcoming offering tea and wine in the garden when returning from trips out. Antoinette is a very good cook so take up her offer for dinner where wine was included in the price. Rooms were large and very clean. The main road by-passes the village so its very peaceful.... My recent stay at les Marguerites was one of the best traveling experiences I've ever had. Antoinette, Keith, their children and animals are the most gracious of hosts. The house is charming and the rooms are spacious and very clean. Antoinette goes out of her way to accommodate all of her guests. I'm sure I will be back!

We have just stayed for two nights at this friendly, well-appointed B&B and cannot recommend it highly enough. Keith and Antoinette really know how to put their guests at ease and it was a pleasure to stay here. We stayed in room number 4 which was large, comfortable and very tranquil. Breakfast was continental, tasty and plentiful and included cereal,... More

This really is a beautiful location, a lovely guest house with a gorgeous garden. The house was renovated by and is cared for by Antoinette and Keith - who are perfect hosts. Seven of us spent three nights at Les Marguerites on a cycling break. Nothing was too much trouble for Antoinette. Breakfast and evening meals were superb and all... More

I had a terrific experience at Les Marguerites. The house and grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are lovely and very comfortable. But the real treasure is Antoinette and her family. The atmosphere is warm, calm, and truly welcoming. I needed gluten- and dairy-free breakfasts and dinners, and Antoinette put together fabulous meals for our whole party that I could... More
