Nice and comfortable room with shower and a bath. Clean and tidy rooms with large double bed and immaculate condition. Flat screen tv, hairdryer and wardrobe. Food was amazing and so was the atmosphere. Amazing surroundings, it's a shame it was raining the whole time we were there as we really wanted to walk the hotel grounds, but gives us...

We love the Petwood so much we decided to abandon the family and come here for Christmas, it was the best Christmas we could have hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived to afternoon tea and cakes followed by the staff carl singing to the day we checked out, rather reluctantly, with a fond farewell from the staff,...

We returned this year for our Christmas party night after enjoying it last year (a party of six people). All our rooms were nice this time (one was in need of updating last year). The food was mostly delicious and the service excellent. We were in a different room this year which was smaller and still nice. The roulette table...

I was recently treated to Boxing Day lunch by my retired parents. Strangely Petwood not only took a deposit for the Boxing Day lunch, but also the full payment in advance; only on the day did it seem apparent as to why. My mother had previously phoned Petwood well in advance of the day to let them know that one...

Although the Hotel is dated it's in a good way, lovely large fireplaces with welcoming wood fires. Plenty of sitting areas to enjoy a drink, snack or coffee after lunch. I was surprised to see many people with dogs in these areas but as someone who has been disappointed to find we couldn't go into some pubs with our dog...

About 16 years ago my husband & I took the children in our caravan to stay at Jubilee Park Woodhall Spa. During one of our daily walks we exited through the grounds of Petwood Hotel & thought how quaint it looked & how nice it would be to stay there. And there we were 01/01/17 (minus the children who are...

Stayed her for a Christmas break with my mother, which may colour my opinion. The hotel is a beautiful building and well appointed, the staff were wonderfully welcoming, however the bar ran out of our requested drink on Christmas evening. It is very old school and does rely too heavily on it's attachment to the RAF and the second world...
