Lets be honest, if you don't dive, this is definitely not for you (unless your company doesn't dive either). My partner and friend are all divers and so I was incredibly bored. Our room wasn't that clean and especially the bathroom was disgusting. It smelled all the time. We coulnd't even let the door open during the night as it... More

Definitely a place for diving and snorkeling. If you are not here for this, then there is literally nothing to do. However, we were there to dive and snorkel and found the dive instructors very helpful. We were there over the new year and found the atmosphere very relaxing and not too festive (which is what we wanted - a... More

The dive centre and staff are excellent. The rooms are individual chalets and have an amazing location on the beach but are getting tired. Various leaks had stained the ceiling and walls in my chalet. A lampshade was missing from the bedside light. The one plug in the room did not work. Even when the water was turned on, the... More

The Togian islands in general seem to be really hit'n'miss as far as experiences go, and I came unstuck with tripadvisor reviews here, that's why I am leaving a review for each place I experienced in The Togean islands-normally I own leave a few reviews for either really good or really poor places I experience. First Kadidiri where Black Marlin... More

Hi, many thanks for the detailed review of Kadidiri. i'm sorry I wasn't there during your stay. My wife or I are at the resort atleast 8 months of the year but monitor the resort daily from Bali so I am very interested on your comments so the we can further improve the service at the resort. We spend over a week here in May 2016. First of all cause we wanted to go diving again after a year in cold Germany (we are both DM). We were not disappointed. The boats are fast and quite comfortable. Enough space even on a busy day. You will have the divespots on your own. In 14 dives never saw... More

Your review was a breath of fresh air to finally have a detailed and accurate impression of the resort and so many aspects of the service that we try hard to improve all the time to maximise our guests enjoyment of the Togean Islands and the incredible reef there. Fortunately the water temperature has started to drop again so hope... More

We spent 5 days in Black Marlin in January 2016. Our standard room was ok, but the bathroom was a little dirty, with a lot of green deposits and a smelly toilet. Availability of water and electricity is restricted. For the water, you have to fill a large barrel in the morning. Electricity is only available in the evening. In... More

Many thanks for the review and feedback that is so helpful for us to keep and eye on the guest experience and improve it where we can. As I have mentioned this year all our rooms have been renovated. Some still do have the natural stone shower bases that tend to go green very fast and are difficult to get... More

In Black Marlin the new renovated Restaurant Area was very cozy, there is pool table and a lounge next to the eating tables. At the Restaurant you always can find drinking water, coffee or tea. The food is good, we had mostly fish with sticky rice and some vegetables for lunch and dinner. For breakfast we had omelette with fruits.... More

Stayed 2 nights in deluxe bungalows, food was great and rooms are very nice and clean. However the atmosphere is little bit weird. Exchange rates are a joke, just dont go there with rupiah if you dive and you have euro, you will save a lot - pay directly in eur. Otherwise be sure to have enough rupiah or they... More

Many thanks for you review and feedback. I am glad the rooms were pleasing for you after there renovations. I am a bit confused by your comments about our exchange rates as not as you stated. The diving is priced in euros and we are happy to be paid in euros cash, if wish to pay with rupiah then is... More

Staff smoke drugs and drink arak (local alcohol) almost every night in front of resort, they use all the area for guests, and if you're not with them - there is no ofher place to spend an evening. It makes the place noizy, vulgar and unpleasant. Rats and bed bugs in the rooms!

The black marlin is probably the best dive center on kadidiri. We stayed in one of the "standard" bungalows with own bathroom a small terrace and a great seaside view. The "economy" offers on the other hand seemed to be most basic: ca. 20% discount for a small room and a mattrace on the floor, that's it. So we would... More
