This is a lovely hotel to stay if you have children. There is a full size swimming pool, as well as a children's pool, set in gardens. It is quiet and the standard of cleanliness in the rooms is excellent with sheets changed every day. There is fresh fruit salad every morning at breakfast, as well as a mountain of... More

Arrived at this large hotel greeted by a very pleasant and helpful manager. The hotel seemed pretty empty and a little shabby. I don't think there had been any investment here for some time. Good free internet, fairly basic rooms but clean and comfortable. Good breakfast overlooking an enormous beautiful pool and lido. Excellent value we had the 4 bed... More

We spent a few nights in that hotel, checking before their website, which still looks very attractive, but the reality was a pretty bad surprice. It is nowadays just a B&B, no more hotel acitivities, no more restaurant, small breakfast, although the still working people are very nice. The owner died last year and the rest of the family shows... More

The adverts for this Hotel show an excellently sited hotel, with beautiful grounds, pool and gardens. We arrived late at night so could not confirm these attractions till the following morning, and man, they were all correct! The hotel grounds are immaculate and the design of the building maximises the views. The breakfast room overlooks a stunning pool - virtually... More

My family and I needed a hotel in Puglia that was conveniently located near Castellana Grotte, Alberobello, Ostuni, and Polignano a Mare. We selected the Grand Hotel d'Argona based upon previous reviews and we were very pleased with our stay there. The room, while not fancy or modern, was clean and well-kept. The in-room Wifi worked flawlessly. There was parking... More

To my satisfaction I found it as it is advertised: Comfortable and clean rooms, Well informed and helpful Front Desk Officers, Ample parking space, Walking distance from Conversano center and the cherry on the cake, Excellent Breakfast always served with... Stayed here for one night in October 2010. Set about 5-10 minutes walk from the lovely town center of Conversano. Restuarant had a very limited menu but the food was good. Bar seemed to close very early and we couldn't even get a glass of wine after 10pm despite asking in the restuarant and at the front desk. It may... More

We went to puglia and we would visit the "salento". For that reason we chosed the Grand Hotel D'Aragona, which has a strategic location near Bari, Lecce and Matera (the "città dei sassi"). The hotel: - has room too clean, - has a good reception, which helps all time long, - has a swimming pool (25mt), - has a big... More
