The location is situated on the most beautiful beach I had ever seen and felt as the water was so warm and delicious. The rooms were rustically elegant although the toilet needed maintenance which was quickly repaired. The restaurant food was good although the menu was limited. The most important feature of Acqua was the view, the sunsets, warmest tropical waters, and the liberation of the baby turtles was amazing. The kayaking needed perhaps a bit more instruction especially disembarking from the kayak as a novice like me took a tumble. However, the staff member assisted me by pulling me from the water by my life jacket. Every staff person was so friendly and patient with our party. Special shout out to Daniela, Kimberly, Johnny, Fatima, and Lizbeth. It is so important to have dedicated staff as they are the ones that make this experience worth it and hope that they are adequately compensated with a living wage for their loyal efforts. We shall return in the future as it was the highlight of our Nicaraguan adventure.…

I dont usually write reviews but I feel that everyone considering going here, cashing in a lot of money, should have the chance to reconsider their plans. My girlfriend and I were looking for a nice getaway for 2 days while we were backpacking throughout Nicaragua. This is a very expensive place and, I don’t know, but when you pay these kind of prices you expect some kind of basic standards.. We rented a deluxe suit with sea view which was a very expensive option, so when arriving to the treehouse we got a little bit disappointed. The seaview almost didn’t exists, The aircondition was also very noisy and old (and sometimes it didn’t even work), and there was a lot of super noisy construction work around us our whole stay. We tried to call the reception asking if this was only for the first day, but after 3 calls they still didn’t answer. The location was very much beautiful but the the prices for food was very expensive. We went for buying a lot of grocery in the nearest store (very expensive as well) for making simple dishes in the kitchen in our room, but the kitchen was missing a lot of basic components like oil, pepper and salt. Everything felt a little bit like a scam of “rich” tourists. I don’t mean sound harsh, but this place should be a lot more cheap considering the standards. We’ve paid 5 times less the amounts for better places.. it’s a nice and interesting place, but not worth the money..…

It was my first time going with my partner to Aqua, we saw an ad on Instagram that immediately called our attention, and we were not wrong. Since we stepped in and talked to the staff they were super friendly and kind. The food was delicious, the place was excellent, and we enjoyed the view, great company, and good music. I wanted to thank Aqua's staff members for such an incredible and warm welcome and amazing service. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family. Looking forward to coming back again!!

This has been the worst hotel experience we've ever had, since we checked in, they gave us the wrong keys, the bedspread was worn, the room had a bad smell, there was no water pressure, rooms need maintenance Inter they have bad comunication and lack of customer service , we deserved a super stay for the money we paid we will not recommend this place. We could stay at selina better i think.

This place is a gorgeous kept secret! Although the dirt road to get there is a bit bumpy, don't be scared, it is part of the experience which is great! The views views views are just WOW!!! The crew are super helpful and warm. Martin was able to quickly improvise a bonfire setup so that I could propose to my girlfriend and made our moment unique and so perfect! Can't wait to come back!!!

Great hotel, fully equipped suit. outstanding service, the staff was always very attentive ready to help in any way possible.. food was great egg and sausage sandwich for breakfast was insanely delicious and then and endless fresh seafood options for lunch/dinner 10 out of 10 for me, highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind.

We loved this place! It's nestled in a beautiful tropical forest overlooking a lovely private beach. Each villa is like a treehouse retreat, with gorgeous woodwork and comfortable beds. The service was friendly and efficient, the food excellent and my grandkids had a wonderful time. The waves are gentle, great for swimming and kayaking (included), and there's great surfing nearby. They've done a great job of integrating it into the natural setting, we saw some cool birds and monkeys. We're very impressed and would love to go back.
