The place feels like a bit of a theme park & I felt it was overpriced for the standard of room. It was big & busy & difficult to find information in English on facilities within the hotel. The spa was very good.

This was my second visit to the northern area of Poland, filled with lakes, woods, charming towns -and Hotel Zamok Ryn. The hotel is in a restored castle near a pristine lake and steps from the lovely city of Ryn. The restaurant is near gourmet, the staff is wonderful and spa facilities are top shelf.

Amazing place! We had there ELTE2023 conference. Organization was perfect. Very convenient to have all under one roof. Funny feeling of being lost in all the corridors, stairs, it took 2 days to learn how to move around.

We booked a lunch. It was nice, good quality of food and good portion but if they propose you to pay a ticket to visit the castle there is nothing to see. It's not old but rebuilt and the tour guide is not speaking English.

Had one night at Ryan Castle Hotel; the building itself is incredible! Very well renovated. The small swimming pool is worth a visit, although for the size of the hotel - it gets full quickly. We stayed the night at the ‘Villa’ building across the road from the Castle; it was rather dated interior and had too much road noise. Wouldn’t recommend it at all. The breakfast buffet across at the Castle in the morning was delicious!!

We went to this hotel recommended by our friend and it was a saddly deception. People in the hotel do not speak english, we were lost in the hotel several times (the indications did not help). The bathroom and room were not clean, the toillet yellow and dirty (very disgusting), also in the swimming pool area the bathroom were terrible maintained and smelly. The hotel is not cheap and we expected that for 140 euros found it in a optimal condition the room and with a good service. We are totally dissappointed, we do not recommend it

Our group of three families with young children/babies do not recommend staying at Zamek Ryn-PAY for parking, horrible dinner in the restaurant, no aircon? hot rooms with only a fan (one rooms fan didn't even work), castle tour cost 10zt and was basically a run down on what features the hotel has-not much on actual history, and there was a severe lack of any customer service This place is like the McDonalds of Castle accommodation, If you're looking for a genuine castle experience-this is not the place!!!

The theming of the castle is pretty good, with actual (and presumably some fake) medieval artefacts all over the walls. The main castle building is impressive and the courtyard (where breakfast and the theme nights take place) gives you a real sense of being in an authentic castle. There doesn't seem to be a way of writing detailed reviews anymore on TripAdvisor, so I'll keep this brief! In short, the areas to improve on are: The staff (all helpful, but really moody looking 99% of the time), no actual complaints with the staff, but they really need to smile more!! The fencing around the tennis court needs to be fixed (its full of holes so a game is impossible) The food is hit and miss, the a la carte in particular was disappointing There is no wifi, other than at reception (yes the hotel will claim there is...but it doesn't work as multiple reviews on this site suggest, they need to fix this or stop claiming they offer it) The pool is too small (but they are building a new one) and a couple of degrees too cold perhaps The pool/bowling opens at 3pm, it would be better if this opened at 12 Whats good: The location is right by the lake / in the centre of town (its a very small town) Our little one loved the 'kids club', she didn't want to miss a session!!! The decor and rooms are nice The theme night was good Overall it was a nice venue, but perhaps missing one central lobby bar with a view, a slightly updated entertainment (games) suite and swimming pool (which is being built).
