Alborada Ocean Club offers spacious apartment accommodation and is located 50 meters from the fishing village of Las Galletas in Costa del Silencio and within a few miles of the vibrant Playa de las Americas resort (the local bus stop and taxi rank are just 50m from the hotel). Adjacent to the hotel is a small beach (with direct access from the hotel). The apartment units are set amongst beautiful sub-tropical gardens, which offer easy access to the complex's facilities. The nearest town, Las Galletas, is just 50 meters from the aparthotel, and has a good variety of shops, restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and budgets. The apartments are just 20 minutes from the airport, which means you can be off the plane and on the beach in no time.

My partner and I have just returned from a 3 week holiday at the Albarada. This holiday was booked in 2020 but because of covid restrictions we have just taken it. After reading some reviews it was with some trepidation that we decided to go and we were pleasantly surprised. Yes the apartments are dated but are very spacious and spotlessly clean. Sheets and towels changed frequently and a powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Also anything we asked for, kettle, toaster, more pillows etc were supplied promptly and with a smile. The A I was not available but we were able to get drinks and tasty snacks at the pool bar between 10am and 6pm. The salt water pool was enormous and yes they do empty, scrub it and refill it every Thursday evening. No shortage of sun beds. The best thing about the holiday was the lovely friendly staff. From reception, house keeping and pool staff they always acknowledge you. A special thank you to Lorenzo at reception who helped us many times during our stay. This was a budget holiday and we had good value for our money. Would I go back, yes when the renovations are finished. Th e area is very quiet but there are some nice restaurants and shops there. If you fancy a bit more life the buses into Los Cristianos and Playa del America are frequent and cheap. 3 euros return.

Staying here at the moment, the pool is open to all, kids 2 euro a day, it is bedlam! The kids inside hotel, running up and down corridors screaming, chasing each other, so no chance of any peace! We've stayed here many times in the past, but it's equivalent to a 1 star hotel at the moment, they are having work done, so building noise also. Such a shame one of our favourite hotels had gone downhill so quickly.

To start this is my opinion of the hotel and my experience I have had with the hotel. We originally booked direct with the hotel for the 29/03/2020 and obviously from the 26th no one was going anywhere due to lockdown. I contacted the hotel and was offered a full refund or a voucher to use another time and I chose the voucher, The booking was for seven days in the new suite all inclusive which they had done as a tester for what was planned to happen to the rest of the hotel with refurbishment. Well two lots of management later and two years on my voucher was still honoured but at the minute no all inclusive so instead of seven days the hotel gave me ten days in the suite self catering. If you have been here before and want to return the only thing that is different is there is no all inclusive (YET) but the bar is open for paying customers and the refurb is starting 04/07/2022 after a lot of red tape. I personally love the place due to the massive pool (which is open and cleaned on a Thursday) and the fact your not going to get anywhere nearer the sea than here for the price. If you have been here before and know what to expect then book, It now needs to be filled with people which is good for the hotel and also for the town itself, Don't book if your just going to go round taking pictures of the bad points.

Due to arrive 28th August....received email 1 week before to state all inclusive closed amongst other things such as housekeeping (wtf especially in a PANDEMIC!!!!!) We paid premium for all inclusive for one...no offer of refund ON this aspect. I then emailed to confirm whether they are actually even still open as it sounded non convincing....no response.....emailed again for them to respond will be fully closed!!! Thanks for ample notice (3-4 days) on what was due to be en enjoyable family holiday. For me to have to ask for clarification on this was appalling, as you should have just stated the hotel would be closed in the first place. We could have turned up and have had to had found other accommodation 2 days later with zero notice!! You had been so helpful in the build up to the holiday it was such a shame to be let down just a few days before our break (we had to find another hotel altogether). I understandably asked for a full refund as I had to fond another hotel, which they stated would take a few weeks....I gave benefit of the doubt given your helpfulness so far.....yet I'm till waiting 2 months later....no response via email or social media. What else should I do? Just visit upon my next visit? I fully appreciate some hotels might be struggling but this situation was completely beyond my control and unfair. Perhaps if your hotel made more of an effort to respond, in an open and honest way, I would be open to being more flexible on how long a refund takes but the fact you are clearly advertising on social media that you are open just takes the piss quite frankly, and unless resolved quickly, you will be visited next time we arrive for the refund you have previously promised. Please avoid ....its not worth the agro

i and my family have just been over there for a relaxing holiday ,it was very quiet but the local restaurants and bars made us very welcome other than the euro bar on the front his food tastes vile his beer is flat and his staff are chancers beware ,otherwise we had some lovely meals and are rebooked for November ,the hotel is a little worn round the edges but the large gay Spanish guy with black curly hair behind reception looks like he's tried every bar and restaurant in Tenerife he's a bit like the scotch man in the austin powers movie ,fat and windy but good to laugh at give him some verbal and watch him smile

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!! Upon arrival i thought we were at the wrong place- looks like a prison and that wasn’t even the worst part. Where do I start, this is the worst hotel i’ve ever stayed in. The area around was so desolate and broken down there was nothing to do. Within the hotel, there were broken tiles all over the floor which could prove a danger if accompanied by young children. The food was shocking. There were flies all around the place and it was so irritating trying to swat them away from my food. The place was very under staffed and considering that they are trying to keep covid safe they should do a better job at cleaning. The plates were not cleaned at all there was still leftover food on them since god knows when. Our apartment was covered in ants and bugs and DONT even look at the mattresses. You even have to rent a fan and you’d think that in such a hot climate you’d get one anyway. There was no entertainment whatsoever and the bar shut at 10. The toilets were disgusting. I would give it 0 stars if i could. It’s not a 3 star hotel at all it could’ve been in 1960 but not now. The place should be shut down. ITS DAYLIGHT ROBBERY DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! ITS RUINED OUR HOLIDAY SO DONT LET IT RUIN YOURS!!!

Alborada Ocean Club is closed. People don't book the hotel. I have been there last April and it is outrageous. It is dirty, no staff, nothing open. I don't know why Spanish authorities don't do anything. Lots of people loost their money, including me. 🤨🤨🤨🤨

I do not regret that I decided to stay at the Alborada Ocean Club, I had read reviews about the hotel before, there were many negative ones, but they were also positive. I'm glad I didn't believe the negative ones. The fact is that the hotel needs a lot of repairs, but it is still a friendly place. The apartments are spacious and clean, although showers should be replaced, electrical sockets need to be replaced (repaired) and the internet was very poor. A big plus is the hotel service, nice and friendly people, and of course the beautifully situated swimming pool with ocean water. Greetings to the staff of Alborada Ocean Club, and I hope to see you soon.

This hotel is closed, nevertheless they keep on selling via their website, even all-inclusive holidays!!! Don't book!!!! The restaurant is closed, the bar is closed, the swimming pool is broken (every morning the pool is half empty due to a leak, they then refill it with sea water, but I doubt if any chlorine or desinfectants are used...) The hotel staff has been put in ERTE (unemployment) since april, but only after a strike. They haven't been paid since january!!! !!!!AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!
