We have been travelling a while and so are used to crappy accommodation. If you are just on holiday, yes, this place sucks in comparison to a normal hotel. We were put in a 4 bed room (there were 2 of us), which was pretty clean. We even had hot water. The set meal dinner is not too bad either!...

Most horrendous place I have ever stayed in, cannot believe this is the only place one can stay in to see the Ijen Crater. The staff were unfriendly, the food was awful and the place itself was filthy.

If you are looking for recording terror film, please visit this place. One of the worst places I have ever been in my life. Please note that are two types of room, normal ones and SPECIAL ones. Well, SPECIAL are terrorific. Dirty, bamboo walls between rooms, holes into the bamboo walls, spyders, all type of insects... Really terrorific. At least...

Keep in mind that I had low expectations for this homestay, having decided to ride the local bus from Surabaya, followed by a mini bus and then on the back of a motorcycle. Nonetheless, I was looking for a relaxing, quiet place to rest my head and give myself time to explore the surrounding craters, lush coffee plantations, and waterfalls....

For lunch they took 45 for cooking 7 dishes. Room and restroom are not clean. Good things, they have swimming pool and hot water pool so you can...

We ended up here after choosing a terrible transport company (Yogyakarta - Bromo - Ijen - Denpasar) who had a "contract" with this hotel. It is substandard and poorly maintained. Food was pricey, but good. Beer on the money (INR 40K). It is not the worst room we have stayed in (that was the night previously), but definitely could be...

Many bad feedback assess Catimor Homestay, I visited ijen by staying in homestay Catimor, we had a clean room, although the furniture was old but worth it for me and value for money. By paying the rooms are cheap, very unfair to ask for more. Catimor been better !!

We arrive here in the evening and spend less than 7 hours in this place as we left at 1.00am for the Blue Fire and this is how we felt. This place is definately falling apart, No hospitality at all; No body bothers; NO body working there cares because all the tour packages will some how try to take you...
