We are a very luxury tented camp positioned on the mighty Limpopo River. Located in the Kwa Tuli Private Game Reserve we have an exclusive area in excess of 6000 hectares available to make our game drives and spectaculair bush walks. Encounter elephant, hyena or leopard on foot or wander through the undisturbed riverine forests with its abundant birdlife and flora. And if one is fortunate you may even see wild dogs or spot the elusive Pel's Fishing Owl. Or just admire the wild orchids. Our luxury tents are positioned in such a way that they provide ultimate privacy for our guests and optimum views of its surrounding. Sit in your personal private plunge pool and watch the river meandering in front of you. If you prefer a day of relaxation instead of going out into our spectacular bush and landscape then just stay on your deck and lounge in your hammock whilst the game visits you...

My family and i spent 4 days at Koro River Camp and we were blown away by the entire experience, right from the start of our trip we were welcomed warmly at the bridge by the entire staff and the manager Mr Sanders, all the Covid protocols were adhered to right from our arrival. The location and property is well situated on the river river bank with amazing views of wild life. The luxury tented rooms and bathrooms exceeded our expectations with 5 star comfort and luxury and beautiful deck with a plunge pool, the rooms were situated on the river. The house keeping staff are very accommodating to every single one us caring for our every need. The game drives were spectacular with the game rangers and trackers Moses, KB, Solomon and Mandla with them making sure we got the full experience. We were treated to a presentation from Mr Sanders about he’s research into the leopard and hyena population that was extremely interesting and educational. Happiness, Chef Sylvia and the Rest of the Front House staff Made sure that our every need was met and spoilt us with A personal touch. This is a very family friendly safari resort that caters for your every personal needs and likes such as food, entertainment and activities for kids. I would to especially thank Happiness and Sarah that made this experience happen for our whole family. I feel i should thank every staff member for going above and beyond to make sure that we had such a beautiful memorable experience.

The view from this camp is the best we had in any of the 13 camps we stayed at so far in Botswana. The rooms are very charming with a separate bathroom that has the unique quality of having "windows" on al 4 sides (although not everybody will like the fact that they are not attached to the bedroom tent). Great game viewing. We loved our stay. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at Koro River Camp with two kids under 4. The service was phenomenal - shout out to our guide KB, Solomon, Mandla, Chef Moses, Kelly and manager Thelma. The food was good, we had many requests that Moses handled well. We were assisted with the kids everyday. The game viewing was enjoyable but what stood out were the rooms. The decor is well maintained and clean with added touches like hot water bottles available to warm your bed. The views from each room are beautiful. The bathroom is detached from the room which seemed odd at first (if you need the loo in the middle of the night) but once we got used to it- we quite enjoyed this experience! I highly recommend this lodge.

Koro's land is great. There are some areas in the middle which are a bit dull (lots of mopane bush) but they have many gorgeous kopies and the stretch of land along the Limpopo River is truly exceptional.

I also loved my tent: It was very nicely appointed, of generous proportions, and had lots of privacy. I greatly enjoyed sitting on my deck, looking at the river, reading a good book, and observing the diverse bird life.

I also thought the rest of the lodge was quite stylish. Staff was very friendly and, on some of the days, I had my own guide and tracker who went on bush walks with me, which I really appreciated.

So why am I not giving it a higher score? Mainly because service was just lacking in the little things. For example: They told me that I should not drink the tap water, so I asked that some drinking water just be placed in my room (something pretty much all lodges do). I kept asking, but it never happend. The first couple of days they asked me what drink I would like for my sundowners, then they stopped and just brought me some canned "juice" I didn't like. There were no tissues anywhere in the lodge. When I asked for some at dinner, I was given a role of toilet paper at the dinner table. An other example was that there was a "gift shop" in the lobby, but many item's were just randomly thrown on the shelves, looking for like an almost-empty storage room. Not very welcoming.

The food was consistently mediocre, sometimes worse. I especially found the snacks provided early in the morning and on drives/walks quite disappointing - mostly rusks from the supermarket, a lot of peanuts and potato crisps. Once there were some cashew nuts, which I appreciated.

Finally, compared to most other bush regions I have travelled to, I saw relatively little wildlife. Once we tracked a leopard on foot, which I cherished. We also saw elephant on various occasions. Other highlights were a couple of civets, bat-eared foxes, and one porcupine. Beyond that, it was only antelope, zebra, giraffe, hyena over a period of 7 days.

Koro River Camps provides a relaxing and serene atmosphere and out of this world sightings of wild animals. Staff and guides are friendly, knowledgeable and competent. A wonderful experience which asks for a second edition!

This is the best lodge we’ve ever been! The people of the lodge really go the extra mile to make your stay memorable, e.g. we got a special cake for our wedding anniversary and they sang for us. The tents are really spacious with a wooden floor, electricity and nice furniture. Bathroom and outside shower separate on your own platform near the beautiful Limpopo river. Game drives are superb. Walking safaris are an option. Wild animals roam freely around your tent at night so I was scared the first night, but I got used to it the second night.

I had a lovely stay at Koro River camp. The tents were so tastefully decorated and had stunning views of the Limpopo river. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were polite and friendly. Excellent service! The food was delightful. We got to see a variety of animals on the game drives. I would certainly want to stay at this place again in the future.

We had an amazing tome at Koro River Camp. It was a long drive from Johannesburg but Botswana has lots to offer and is well worth it! The game drives and rangers were amazing and very professional. We spotted several species of game including wild dogs. Staff at the camp were so so nice and friendly. The camp has 7 or 8 tents and is really quite and private. Constructive advice would be they really need to aircon the tents as Botswana very very hot in February. Still a 5 star experience and worth the heat and travel

I came unprepared to the camp, but this camp is more than I could have expected. The service is excellent, but what I enjoyed more is that the staff is proud of where they work and eager to show everything of their conservancy. The nature is astonishing and de tented camp is stylish en luxurious. Its is a perfect hide away to load your battery.
