Mrs Brown greeted us at the door with big smiles, although we arrived quite late in the evening. We were in a hurry to get to our dinner reservation, so after getting us settled in our room, she insisted on driving us to the restaurant. She was generous in her advice and help. We had a delicious breakfast before heading... More

We had use of a large bathroom containing a good shower. Our room was comfortable and well decorated. We had use of a large sitting room too. Our breakfast was very good. There was an excellent choice of cooked and uncooked items to enjoy. We were given very helpful advice as to what to see and how to get there.... More

The Fellcroft is a warm and inviting place to stay. Good food, restful sleep and excellent recommendations about the surrounding area. Breakfast starts with a selection of cereals; muesli to corn flakes; strawberries and blueberries; and yogurt. They will also make you the usual English breakfast; ham/sausages and eggs, all locally produced. In my case it was black pudding and... More

Mrs. Brown is a warm and welcoming hostess, eager to provide any assistance and advice you need. She also has a wonderful sense of humor. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast offered anything we could ask for, from full English breakfast to "healthier" fruit, cereal, and yogurt if desired. For dinner we walked 15 minutes to The Blue Bell,... More

At the end of a rigous walk of Hadrian's Wall we were greeted by the warmest smile and the most thoughtfully "fitted up" room. The breakfast the next morning was scrumptious making us regretful of our departure. Will include Corbridge on any trip back to Northern England just to stay at Fellcroft!

Tove has just re-opened after Storm Desmond in December 2015 caused severe flooding. All the downstairs has had to be refurbished and it's lovely. We stayed in the twin en-suite room which was great, Tove leaves proper milk (not those awful UHT sachets), a nail file and other little extras. Breakfast was delicious, we chose full English both mornings, and... More

Warm welcome, even though I arrived early. My room had many special and thoughtful touches. Excellent recommendation for dinner and things to see in local area. I come from a Hotel and Catering background and the breakfast was second-to-none. A 4 star hotel could not do better. Thank-you for a fantastic stay at the start of my mammoth Hadrian's Wall... We stayed in Fellcroft as a starting point for walking the middle section of Hadrian's wall - 3 adults and 3 children. To accommodate us all there was an extra bed put into the twin room, but the room did not feel unduly cramped. We walked up from the station (about 2 minutes with luggage). The B & B owner,... More

I stayed at Fellcroft for just one night whilst in Northumberland for a wedding. Tove was incredibly helpful, friendly and warm. She went out of her way to help me, for example dropping me into Corbridge when she realised I had a 15 minute walk in heels!! The B&B is really well located in beautiful countryside and very close to... More
