Over our recent 17 day trip travelling through Europe, this was our favorite hotel. Miralago is a family owned and operated hotel overlooking Lake d'Iseo. The view is breath-taking. From someone who knows a lot about renovations, this hotel has made flawless renovations. The entire family including four daughters are charming and welcoming. The father is the chef and his meals are exquisite. The added bonus is this hotel is very affordable. For those wanting to explore the Dolomites and the beautiful Lake d'Iseo, the classy Hotel Miralago is a must.

Visited for a weekend, looking for a quiet place with great views, walking trails, tennis court and good food. The place exceeded our expectations - we were the only guests (covid travel restrictions) and practically had the poace all to ourselves. It is a family-run small hotel with a nice outdoor tennis court (carpet), beautiful lake & mountains views (especially from the top floor, where a nice activity room is with 3 balconies and a terrace in the back), clean and spacious rooms, underground parking, and great food (just try whatever the hosts recommend - everything is delicious and reasonably priced). Bossico is a nice quiet village with a lot of walking trails with great views. The best part of the stay, however, were our great hosts who made us feel at home - from the early check in, throughout our stay with a great restaurant service, advises on where to go & what to see, patience with our basic Italian to the late checkout. I highly recommend the place.

I recently stayed at Hotel Miralago for 3 nights. My room was on Level 2 in the center of the hotel with a large balcony. The front wall of the balcony was glass for unobstructed views of Lago d’Iseo. Another plus of the hotel is the in-house restaurant. The food is 5 star for every meal. I ate all meals here since everything was fresh, local and cooked to order. All breads are made fresh each morning by the owner. The chef makes his own pasta. For almost Alpine relaxation, choose Hotel Miralago. The 6 km drive up the mountain is “interesting” but fun! Also, this whole area is great for hiking, cycling and motor cycling. Be sure to explore Lago d’Iseo and the island in the middle of the lake, Monte Isola. Also visit nearby Clusone and their 15th century frescoes.

Although we are not bykers - apperently bykers love this place and we understand why. We enjoyed a three night stay at the hotel which best feature is its restaurant where we ended up eating all three evenings and lovely garden perfect for relaxing. We also want to compliment the service and the doughter of the owners Ornella who speaks very good english was a great help and gave us good advice on what to do and see in the neighbourhood. We are a family of four and stayed in a family room which was very clean - but a bit small for four people though.

This hotel is simply charming. Bossico is a quiet town set in the mountains overlooking a stunning lake, and this hotel fits in well. We were warmly greeted by the lady on Reception after we parked in the underground car park. Our room was a little dated but very clean. As the lady said on Reception, the hotel is undergoing a renovation, so lots of it is very modern. We had a lovely view of the lake from our balcony and the bed was very comfortable; we had a wonderful nights sleep! We had dinner in the restaurant, which was fantastic. The traditional, Italian cuisine is homemade and is absolutely delicious, and reasonably priced. Breakfast was also very good at the hotel and there was a large selection to choose from. The staff were absolutely lovely at the hotel. The lady at Reception took the time to show us some photographs of the hotel through the years, explaining that it had been in her family for a long time. My boyfriend stayed here many years ago, so this was a lovely touch. This was a lovely, traditional hotel that was ideal for a stopover on our European road trip. We would highly recommend.

My husband and I recently stayed at this charming family run hotel while I researched my family tree. All the staff were great and the food was amazing. Bruno is a terrific chef and I wanted to bring him back to Australia. Ornella (receptionist) was extremely helpful in tracking down my family and without her I would not have met them. She also put me in touch with the local Priest who kindly gave me birth and death certificates. We will definitely return to this beautiful village in the Italian alps, and will stay again at this hotel.

Our stay at Miralago was beyond amazing! This hotel is truly a special place that we will hold dear in our hearts. Upon arrival, we met Ornella who went above and beyond throughout our 4 night stay. She helped us plan daily activities, taught us Italian phrases, and catered to every possible need. The complimentary breakfast every morning was made of local meats, cheese, home made bread, jams, and delicious pastries. Each night dinner was better than the next! The menu changed daily while keeping a couple house specialties that we were happy to repeat! The prices were exceptional for the portion size and quality of the food. The service was incredible with all star Ornella taking special care of every table. The grounds were incredible with panoramic views of Lake Iseo. We looked forward to coming back to the hotel to relax with a glass of wine after we went out each day. We felt like part of this amazing family and felt more at home at Miralago than anywhere on our 10 week Europe trip. We are so thankful for the beautiful time we had there and can't wait to visit again. We can't recommend this place enough! P.S...Try the Tiramisu, you will not regret it!!

Absolutely marvellous hotel in Bossico, Lombardy. The view is breathtaking with mountains and lake! The road is quite challenging though (serpantine), so better to arrive during the daylight. Staff is super friendly: they offered me a very late dinner at 10pm on arrival. There are some free parking spots nearby (confirm with reception) and paid parking on the street.
