We had an awesome time at the Castello. We arrived the day of their fall festival and had fun walking around all of the different purveyors and vendors in the area. Our second day there we relaxed and took a tour of the Castello and also scheduled a wine tasting. The wines were all very good and we even had...

Back again to visit this wonderful castle. We have visited the castle for four years. Recently the Baron has given some latitude to his son who has made some great renovations. The apartments now are air conditioned and my favorite is the new wine tasting room. A few words here. The wines are extremely reasonable and actually quite good. They...

Oh how well do the Italians do tradition? Their buildings are splendidly old, their wines a joy and their hospitality excellent. We stayed in Treviso but had a private wine tasting arranged by TrevisoCarService.com. He knew where to go and when and since it was Sunday we needed that knowledge. With an English speaking driver and large S Class Mercedes...

We loved our stay in the top floor of the castle, overlooking the castle vineyards and the village. Gratis wine tasting of their own wines with check-in, small but satisfactory swimming pool for cooling off after a day in Venice, lovely breakfast with homemade jams. Pleasant staff always smiling and happy to assist.

Spent a half day including lunch experiencing the wine tasting and hospitality at the Castello. Well worth a visit. Barone Vincenzo Ciani Bassetti made us very welcome with lots of information and history about his family home. Purchased a couple of bottles before we left - lovely wine.

Helt igennem fantastisk oplevelse. Da de fandt ud af vi var danskere, fandt de en af deres danske medarbejdere, så han kunne give os en Tour og vinsmagning. Uden tvivl besøget værd!! -------- Truly amazing experience. When they found out we were Danes, they found one of their Danish employees so that he could give us a tour and tasting....

We went to the Castello di Roncade as part of a Thomson trip to Treviso. Dennis was our wine expert and was very knowledgable about the history of the Castello and the wines. We tasted 5 Wines and were given snacks and a tasty plate of pasta. The wines were excellent and like many of the other people on the...

We went to the wine tasting and vineyard tour on a rainy afternoon. There was only me and my friend on the Tour and Julio who did it was really good. He was really friendly and he made the visit very enjoyable. We tried 5 wines after the tour and it then bought a few bottles. It was one of...

Let's start with the good things: this is a real fortified medieval castle with a real Veneto villa (allegedly designed by a precursor of the famous Palladio) inside. Splendid construction and gardens. But. Guests are sleeping in the wings, which must have been storage or service areas, and the apartments, although well equipped, are on the gloomy side and need...

“The furniture is largely antique. We were comfortable, but the accomodations were not luxurious. After all, we weren't staying IN the Castello, but rather on its grounds. The shower/bathroom in our suite was modern and generous.”
