Detailed Reviews
My family and I had the most amazing time at Sant Elena. We stayed there for a week this August discovering Tuscany. The location is very central about 30 minutes to Pisa and 20 minutes to Lucca. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the breakfast was always good. Big thanks to Francesco and his family for making us feel incredibly welcome. We would recommend this very much to anyone who is planning to stay in Tuscany.

We spent a weekend in the hotel and it was really nice, it is a family owned business and they were always nice and friendly.
The hotel is strategically located close to Lucca, Pisa and Florence as well as other small towns, the rooms are nice and clean. Definitely would come back.

I spent a really cool weekend with my wife in this great place! The room was big, everything was very clean and the staff is super nice. Perfect place for site seeing since Lucca, Florence and Pisa are just a few minutes from there. I will definitely return.

I had the chance to spend 2 nights in this wonderful place. Our accommodation (2 adjoining rooms) was very well furnished and equipped with every comfort, including air conditioning.
The bathing suite was supplied with quality toilette pruducts and hydromassage
shower. The wonderful cottage is surrounded by a relaxing garden with a nice swimming- pool where you can rest on very comfortable sofas and lawn chairs. I thank Francesco and his cute family for their great hospitality and I have very much appreciated the time they spent with us. If I go back to Lucca, I’ll certainly return at Casale Sant’Elena.

My boyfriend and I stayed from 16 to 22 in this property because we were looking for a little tranquility in August and we must say that here we found it. You could only hear the cicadas. It is close to everything, Pisa, Florence and Lucca the main cities. The hosts were kind right away.
The farmhouse was renovated not so long ago and would have a lot of potential. They have a very large plot with a swimming pool (not very well maintained). The second day we were relaxing by the pool, they decided to cut the grass by the pool, (I think they could very well do it when there was no one). C it was written on the site that they had the HOME RESTAURANT with some things prepared by them but we did not see anything.
Breakfast was minimal and nothing home made. They were nice because I have a gluten intolerance and they had cookies on purpose.
Every morning they came to make our beds (but did not change towels (only on request and for a fee)).
Positive note: being a b & b there was no kitchen but there was a large enough fridge where you can put water or food.

Place with potential but to be improved. Rooms to be renovated including furnishings. Cleanliness to improve. Good breakfast but not varied. Large garden but for us not usable cause very high grass. Pool not yet active, but we stayed in early May. Convenient to highway. We recommend visiting Monte Carlo village nearby.

Beautiful farmhouse set in the Tuscan countryside, where relaxation and helpful staff are the specialties of the house. The property is clean and very comfortable.
We felt right at home.
Its location is an added value that allows you to quickly reach the cities of Lucca, Pisa and Montecatini Terme.
We will be back for sure!!!
