We stayed here for two nights at the start of a walking holiday in the Dolomites. The hotel is in a quiet location several miles from the railway station but this was not a problem for us as we were collected by a member of staff. The hotel consists of three buildings, the original hotel, a later addition just across...

A really nice guesthouse/hotel in a very quiet and peaceful countryside location. Excellent food, good rooms, and very friendly staff. I stayed in the original building - it was very nicely furnished, but there was a bit of noise from the neighbouring room. A good base for summer hiking but you would need a car to get to the starting...

We have been visiting the Saalerwirt several times for more than a decade..and we happily return year after year..the original attractions were the hotel's setting in a beautiful alpine meadow combined with original warm hospitality not too far from an expanding skiing area, The Kronplatz. With the recently new-built quarters in the original building style, amenities are now second to...

We spent two ski holidays in this hotel and it was wonderful. A whole package which we have not received anywhere in the world before (and we do like to travel a lot).

This hotel is a real gem in Val Pusteria. At Hotel Saalerwirt we found a warm welcome from the Tauber family, high quality accommodations, exquisite cuisine with fresh and healthy ingredients and savoir-faire. We also found peaceful surroundings, natural beauty and a wellness centre where serenity is breathable. A memorable stay and definitely a strong recommendation for this little piece...

Perfect location for exploring this area of the Dolomites. The rooms were very nice, the setting was gorgeous, and the food was terrific. Did not get a chance to check out the spa, but it looked very nice and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
