Instant Awe

Loisaba is a very special place. Arriving into camp, you wind through the rich green grasses and perfectly manicured gardens before stepping onto the terrace where you're welcomed by warm friendly staff and a cold refreshing drink. As you walk past the stylish lounge and restaurant you can't help but be drawn to the edge of the veranda to marvel at the spectacular view overlooking 57,000 acres of pristine wilderness. The main mess area is highly luxurious with an inviting infinity pool, a comfortable lounge and a dining room serving delicious meals. The rooms are no different, luxurious and comfortable with all of the amenities you could wish for. With the room closed off in the evening, it's easy to think you're staying in a 5 star city hotel, but laying in bed at night, you fall asleep to the sounds of the bush. Rolling back the canvas in the morning, you're presented with breath-taking views out across the concession and that sense of adventure that brought you to Kenya in the first place takes over. The activities from camp are excellent, game drives, walking, mountain biking, horse riding, camel treks - a selection of different ways to explore this dramatic landscape and its variety of wildlife. Activities aside, perhaps my highlight was the surprise sundowners. Returning to camp after an afternoon game drive, only to arrive at a spectacular location, for an evening around the camp fire with a gin a tonic, sharing stories of the day's adventures with guides and like-minded camp mates . I would highly recommend a stay at Loisaba to anyone looking for a high-quality wilderness experience, while wanting to enjoy some of the other things that Kenya has to offer on top of great game viewing. If you're looking for a place to get out to the country-side and experience a bit more of what Kenya has to offer, or just simply to relax, the Loisaba Tented Camp will be perfect for you. Members of my family took advantage of nearly all of the activities offered here; me, I just sat back and enjoyed the warm days and the absolutely stunning view from my tent. An all-round excellent experience.

Simply amazing!

This was such a lovely place in ALL ways- from the welcome by the owners to the delicious food and friendly staff. Sunrise and sunset were stunning! Game drives were exciting and all the guides were very knowledgeable.

What a place!!! Our experience in Loisaba would not have been the same if we stayed elsewhere. The incredible view, amazing staff, excellent food, luxurious rooms, partnership with the Loisaba conservancy, access to beautiful wildlife and overall authenticity made our stay unforgettable. Their appreciation of conservation, the local community and wildlife was striking and genuine. We had an incredibly experienced, professional and knowledgeable guide, John, who contributed to an extraordinary experience. The property is managed very well and we can’t wait to introduce our friends and family to Loisaba. Thank you to the staff for creating an impactful life experience that will remain with us forever.

Loisaba Experience

Africa is just not a place, it’s a million places...~Chris Johns And some of them you can discover at Loisaba Conservancy in Kenya. Aren’t the views enough to fall in love with Kenya? 😉 A repeat guest at Loisaba conservancy definitely means it’s a place worth visiting. My first visit was in April 2019, the days were just never enough! I planned for another visit in December and had the BEST time of my life! This place is Loisaba Conservancy in Kenya 🇰🇪 with various stunning landscapes, beautiful horses, experienced guides, delicious food, comfortable tented camps and a lot more! My experience was unforgettable! and the staff are nothing but amazing! Right from the reception where I was received. I experienced Loisaba star beds, Loisaba tented and Loisaba Lodo, all spectacular camps located within the conservancy. The location of the camps are breathtaking! The conservancy offers variety of activities for guest from the game drives (Morning, Evening and night) where you are guaranteed to see wild animals; lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, hyenas, gazelles, giraffes etc. safari walks, horseback Safari, camel riding. Theres is a lot to discover on horseback Safari, the guides have a lot of knowledge about Kenya’s wildlife, culture and environment and off course the sunset and sundowners makes the perfect combination. No day in the bush is like the other! There’s always something special any day you visit Loisaba! …

Lots of elephants, zebra, wild dogs, other plains game. Good bird life. And sometimes leopard and lion.
