We stayed in one of these fabulous self contained cottages for a week in August. These are owned by Jimmy and Bridget who run Deerpark manor .
What a perfect stay ❤️
Such a cosy cottage right in the town of Swinford near shops ,restaurants and pubs. A lovely food welcome pack with bread , milk etc , plenty tea and coffee and fresh clear towels which we did not expect in a self catering accommodation. The cottage has everything you could need , iron , ironing board , hairdryer and everything in the kitchen . Great location near the airport and easy drive in every direction to go sightseeing in Mayo and no distance to places such as Westport, achil , killala,Downpatrick head . Jimmy and Bridget were very welcoming and helpful regarding things to do , a visitors map/ guide was very useful.
Thank you for a fabulous week, the weather was not great so we also very much welcomed the electric fire in the living room and cosied up to watch Netflix.
Thank you Jimmy and Bridget , highly recommend for a trip to county Mayo.

My wife and i spent 6 days here, visiting her family in Swinford, for the New year. It is our second stay and it was as excellent, as our first time. We were warmly greeted by Jimmy upon arrival and given our room key in the annexe, where we stayed before. The facilities include kettle, tea and coffee, ironing board and iron, plus hairdryer and TV. The bed was very comfy and the shower was dreamy.

Breakfast was in the main house and served from 08:00 until 10:00 and is true value for money. We were greeted each morning, by Brigit, who is very warm and friendly, as we placed our order for a cooked breakfast. It is a breakfast menu, that lives up to being a truly great breakfast, to start the day with. There are also cerials, yoghurts and fruit juice.

Highly recommended.

stayed overnight prior to an early flight from Knock airport. Lovely hosts who couldnt have been more helpful and friendly even getting up extra early to ensure we got breakfast before leaving for the airport. Spotlessly clean rooms and very reasonable rates - would definitely recommend.

Completely satisfactory B&B. Room in the annex was a reasonable size and clean and tidy. Owner offered to put the heating on as the temperature had dropped after period of very warm weather. The building themselves are attractive and the gardens well looked after and pleasant to use. Great information provided on local places to eat. The TV in the room was miniscule, same size as a large laptop computer. Strong WiFi was great. Decent selection for breakfast but could have been improved by some croissants or pastries. Owners very friendly and helpful.

The rooms were really great, spotlessly clean. Bed linen and towels great too. Very Comfortable and nothing is too much trouble. They arranged for ans fridge as granddaughter still on baby bottles.
There’s also a fab lounge for guests which we used most evenings.
Loads of parking. Quiet location but close to town.
Bridgets breakfasta are amazing too.
Will definitely be coming back again

Stayed here for 3 nights. Beautiful house, beautiful breakfast and hosts Jimmy and Bridget are fantastic hosts. So informative and great tips on where to see. The rooms are spotless clean and we felt right at home with full use of the living room and pool room. Definitely would recommend and we would return. Best of luck in the future Jimmy &Bridget.

Really lovely B&B just outside Swinford. 10 minutes walk into town and only around 15 minutes in the car from Knock airport. Stayed in the annex which was perfect. Rooms were clean and towels changed daily. Breakfast was great and the owners (Jimmy & Bridget) were superb. Recommended and would return.

Hi, are there any pets/animals on the property, and if so, what kind of pets?

1 cat and 1 dog (Roxy), but they are not allowed into the property. Roxy is around the back and side and is a beautiful fussy little girl!

is it dog friendly
Answer from deermanor
Swinford, Ireland
Hi YorkyTom, The accommodation is no pets allowed. However we have often had guests who bring their pets but keep them in their vehicle. The guests always take them out for walks and check on them so they are not left in the vehicle at all times. Hope this is some help to you.
