I was taken here as a guest for a night at the end of October after my host had us hillwalking on a long day in Glenshee. The welcoming fire as we stepped from the dark night into the bar was just what we needed and although we arrived a little late the hotel was very willing to delay our... More

We were recommended to the Kirkmichael Hotel and were pleased that we took up the suggestion. We arrived late and were made welcome from the outset. The pints and food were excellent and Danny and the team were good company and helpful throughout. Well deserved recommendation onward.

The food at the kirkmichael hotel bar is amazing. My mum and i enjoyed a really good dinner there. The home made onion rings are the best i've ever tasted in Scotland! The fire was lit and the chat from the staff was great. Very friendly, and overall good experience. I would definitely recommend and cant wait to go back... More

Having made a late decision to head to the Blair atoll horse trial, we were delighted to secure a double room the week before our planned stay During the call for our booking we joked about how lucky we were to find a place with availability at such late notice and were advised that the reason they had room was... Danny and his staff made us feel really welcome during our 2 night stay. The hotel is very comfortable and we had great food. This hotel is run by a great team and fully deserves a 5 star rating. I stayed 3 nights b&b and after choosing good food from traditional 'pub grub' menu slept really well on comfortable mattress and pillows. Copious hot water in deep bath was fabulous after day out in 'scotch mist' then a pint in front of open fire.....thank you Danny and friends.

We received a warm welcome, were shown to our comfortable room with a great shower, ample tea and coffee available - and a really nice touch - fresh milk! Our host was very attentive in a nice bar and a very nice home-made dinner to follow. After a lovely breakfast, we were well set up for next part of the... More

Thank you Danny for a lovely stay. It's our second time and we will be back. Visited the hotel as part of walking holiday - it's right on the Catteran trail. Our room was comfortable and attractive and there was plenty hot water for a good soak in the bath. There was a warm welcome from our host as well... More

Myself along with my wife and our friends stayed here on the 27/4/15 having walked from Bridge of Calley. The owner Danny was very welcoming . Food was good and the produce was sourced locally. The bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of room to spread yourself out. The bathroom had a bath with a shower over the bath , fantastic... More
