Fab hotel, very good value for the price, felt like lady of the manor. My daughters loved the polar bears disguised as black labs so much I had to prise them away. Best sleep ever. Friendly staff and we will defo stay here again!!! Stayed only 1 night but would of stayed here longer😀 Lovely breakfast fit for a King...

We loved staying at the Moorpark House Hotel. It was like staying as an honoured guest in a Manor House. The owners made you feel at home. The breakfast was Moore than adequate. Sleeping in the country was a relaxing experience and we loved sitting in the quiet of the Gold Room. The only downside was they do not serve...

A short review. Here lies to those with little knowledge or sense a smart wonderful house of some age. Look more closely - to the back of the building, at the poor effort to create 'age' from poor materials, the wiring, the kitchen and the lack of cleanliness and the mirage clears. Probably a good venue for a prosseco fuelled...

We have just recently celebrated our wedding at Moorpark! What a fabulous venue! Jackie helped make sure everything was wonderful! The grounds are stunning - every guest could not praise setting, food and atmosphere highly enough! This was only achieved through the well organised day from Jackie and her team! The rooms are individually unique and very special ... The...

We were stayed at Moorpark House recently for a wedding. Jackie and the team worked so hard to make the wedding day a huge success. The gardens at Moorpark house make a magnificent setting and the house too is an impressive Victorian mansion. The catering was excellent and our bedroom and en suite were very grand. This is very much...

The room was really attractive and comfortable. The en-suite was spacious and had a bath and a shower. However the bin in the en-suite had not been emptied after the previous tenants and there were a few bits and pieces on the floor. I had to request toiletries as there were none provided although they were advertised as being provided....

We stayed here overnight as it was convenient for our plans the following day, not realising that it appears to be primarily a wedding venue. Perhaps the clue was that, on reflection, my husband said he had not found a dinner menu on their website. So after a 4 hour drive from Lancashire, we had to get back in the...

Stayed for two nights at Moorpark while working in the area. Booked through booking.com at a very good price. The entrance hall is very grand; this theme continues throughout the house. The bed was very comfortable, room clean, high ceilings and very 'posh'. Large bathroom very well-appointed with period fixtures and fittings; except the shower which was modern and excellent....

I booked this beautiful hotel as a last minute stay. Had read reviews about suitability for wedding venue and was unsure what to expect as an ;"ordinary overnight traveler ". The room i was shown was absolutely beautiful - sheer luxury pure cotton bed linen, spotlessly clean bedroom and first class en-suite with branded toiletries all for budget price! Breakfast...

I would suggest this is a wedding / conference venue and it's good at what it does. Don't be fooled by the approach to the hotel as you go through a small housing development with what looks to be a sixties style comprehensive school to the right. However once through the gates you head up a sweeping drive between well...
