We stopped here for one night. Cleavers Lyng is a charming 16 century building set in lovely surroundings. We stayed in the four poster bed room which was very comfy and we enjoyed a good nights sleep. The Breakfast was very good, but is only served for 1 hour (8:30-9:30) . All in all a lovely location for a romantic... More

We stayed in the balcony room, spacious, with a large en-suite. It is in a quiet situation and the Views from our room were lovely. The cooked breakfast was cooked to perfection, and also plenty of choice for those who do not want the full English. Would we recommend it? Of course we would.

A really gorgeous place to stay. Sally was a lovely host. We stayed in the French Room. We didn't find the bed very comfy unfortunately due to the bed being a normal double ( we are used to a Super King size bed) and the covers weren't very soft but it was only 1 night and we would come and... Lovely old character B&B with gorgeous gardens surrounding it. We had the balcony room with a great outlook over the gardens and countryside. It was spacious, clean and had 2 comfortable chairs to sit in, uncommon in most B&Bs. The cooked breakfast was one of the best I've eaten. Good easy access with parking.

Wonderful rooms, recommend the balcony room if available overlooking the lovely gardens. Great breakfast with a choice of quality ingredients. Unexpected gem in a superb setting, the only traffic noise was from a horse out for morning exercise. Would definitely stay here again.

We were surprised when we arrived to be asked to pay for the room the minute we entered the front door - normally guests pay when they leave and are fully satisfied with a stay. The price was £130 and this was well over the stated price on the internet £80 to £110 and that quoted on the phone -... More

Hello Daniel I am to be honest a little confused by your review. When you book the price is clearly stated and it is shown on the form that you sign when you arrive. I would be out of business years ago if I charged more when you arrived! If you where not happy why did you not say anything... More

A group of 8 stayed here (it could take a few more) for an annual re-union weekend, which worked out very well. Location, house, garden are all good with plenty of car parking space. Breakfasts are excellent and relaxed. Rooms more than adequate. Unusually, we were not disturbed by noise from other rooms. Owners are friendly, helpful and full of... More

This was a last minute booking and we had a wonderful stay. Owner couldn't have been kinder and nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful house and location. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to friends. Wish we could have stayed longer. Dog friendly.

Sally gave us a warm welcome and upgraded our room for us, no extra charge. A very welcome surprise. The breakfast room was warm and welcoming and the cooked breakfast menu was a delight. I tried a different cooked breakfast every day and was not disappointed. Our rooms were comfortable and the views of the marshes and the countryside were... More
