My five year old grandson and I stayed overnight here after visiting Longleat. It is only five minutes drive from the entrance to Longleat and tucked away in a tiny village. The inn itself is very old but refurbished beautifully with a very friendly welcoming bar and restaurant. The room we had was big and comfortable and very well furnished... More

The only thing I can say is they do the most incredible champ potatoes and the stuffed mushrooms are to die for. Lovely staff and very cozy indide, great location too if you fancy a walk around shearwater first and then a stop for afternoon grub.

Had lunch here recently with friends. This is an attractive old pub with a good ambience. Sticky beef and its accompanying vegetables (well done!; decent accompanying veg included) were delicious and appeared to have been cooked with skill. Other dishes similar. Staff were most pleasant. Overall very nice. Will return.

Have been here many times and always had a fabulous meal. Sticky beef is the speciality but the original cottage pie with minted peas was always my favourite. Desserts are to die for too. I love that this place still feels like a proper pub with guest ales and the roaring fire

My son and I just popped in to The Bath Arms for a bite to eat (as on a walking holiday) and were pleasantly surprised with this pub; we were greeted with a friendly welcome from the bar staff, the pub has great décor and excellent, reasonably priced food! Recommend

We booked our stay on line not knowing the area. We were astounded with the room when the staff member showed us in - it was so large! Then we went through to the bathroom and that was large too. It had all the amenities and more that you would expect in a 4-star hotel but not in a pub.... More

Stayed for two nights, to visit longleat(just 10 minute drive) and a day out in bath. Room was lovely, very spacious and a comfy bed, more like an apartment, with leather sofa. Breakfast was included, and not to be missed, excellent.

Everyone's meal came out looking fresh and delicious.Good size portions and very tasty. The atmospheres is always lovely here and we regularly visit to enjoy both food and surroundings :)

Good food, Good atmosphere, Friendly staff and plenty to do nearby. What's not to like? Pay it a visit for lunch (excellent burgers or mixed grill) or supper (plaice or sausages) or drop in for a drink.

Came here after a long day out at Longleat. The staff found us a table and we chose our food. Great service and the food was very good. Clean plates all round. The way to judge a place would be by asking the question "Would I recommend this place to my friends?"Has to be a YES.!!!
