We stayed for 6 days at. Vergina in the middle of September . Rooms spacious and clean . Facilities cannot be faulted, and right next to the beach. The staff where very accomodating , (special mention to Anglelos !! ) . It was the most enjoyable time we had from our 6 week Greece trip !! . My kids highly enjoyed the stay, especially my son, who constantly was going to the bar for ice-cream !! . Highly recommended if you plan to stay in Agia Marina

Hotel's Favorite
My family and I visited for 1 week. We took 2 rooms. Our original booking was pre-COVID but we weren't able to visit until August 2022. The hotel were so accomodating in changing our booking. When we arrived we were very pleasantly surprised. I dont think the pictures on the website do the hotel justice. It is a beautiful location and facility. The staff were so friendly, we were made to feel like family by all the team, not just the front of house staff. I couldn't recommend this highly enough. Well done team Vergina!!

The location was perfect. It is within easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The staff is friendly and kind and answered all of our questions. The hotel is new and all of the facilities and amenities were well-cared for. When we left the hotel, it was pouring rain. So the front desk staff called a taxi for us. Even with the bad weather on that day, everyone was smiling and making us feel relaxed and at ease.

After reading the reviews of this hotel we decided to book. We certainly were not disappointed. We asked the hotel to arrange a pick up from the airport, and from the moment we stepped into that taxi, we knew we had chosen the right destination as he explained all about the area and where to visit. We arrived very late to the hotel but were greeted like we had just stepped back home. We were given a fantastic welcome, then here comes the personal touch, we were given a head written piece of paper with all the restaurants in that area and Chania where they recommend along with things to do. I have travelled the world with my job and stayed in 5 star hotels and never once been given this. We had asked for a late check out the following Friday. They explained they could upgrade in 2 days and we could keep this room until we checked out the following week. Both rooms were great, but our upgrade to a front sea view was just fantastic right next to the pool. Our original room was sea view, but it was set back, and I would say it's more of a side view. If you want a full sea view room, then I would advise you to email the hotel and ask what they suggest. The beach is sandy and the sea stunning. You can see the sun set from the hotel and if you want to see the sun rise you can walk 10 minutes along the beach. The weather wasn't great for the first few days, but that didn't stop the hotel from having the personal touch. Breakfast just WOW, so many different options, even for a vegetarian like me. The team who work at the restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and drinks, we would like to say a huge thank you. You made our holiday with your kindness and hospitality. This hotel is like no other I've stayed in. The hotel itself is great and a fantastic location with so many restaurants in walking distance, but it's the team who runs and owns this place that makes it what it is. I have never said I would go back to a holiday destination, but that has all changed, and we will certainly be returning. Thank you for making out the 15th wedding anniversary so special.

Vergina hotel is a small hotel right on the beach. The entrance is from the main street in Agia Marina . The rooms are modern and well design , the ones facing the sea are quiet and have amazing views. The beach clean and well organized. Superb breakfast with sea view. And the staff very efficient and helpful trying to make your holiday perfect. Thank you for this ! We had a great vacation and really recommend this place.

This was my first time in Crete, and I was so happy with my stay at this hotel. The front reception staff were amazing, so helpful and accommodating. Helping us with luggage and organising airport transfers. The cocktails here were among the best that I had in Greece. The included breakfast was also really fresh and lots of choices provided. We stayed in the 2 bedroom maisonette and it was a very cute and modern room, stunning sea views. The location in Agia Marina is very central, and very easy to get taxis into Chania. We also booked the spa/steam room for a bit of relaxation and it was a lovely place to just chill after a long day of travel. I would happily stay here again.

My son and I have just returned from a week at this lovely hotel....we didn't have the best luck with the weather, but certainly enjoyed our stay here. Situated directly on the beach, the vista from our sea front room with plunge pool was truly magical! Overlooking the pool and with the little island of Thodorou across the sea the vista was one of the best we have experienced from any hotel we have ever stayed in. The room itself was kept beautifully clean, the bed was so comfortable, and the shower was large and fabulous. Breakfast offered a great choice and they have excellent coffee....this is important to me, as I love a double espresso in the morning! The staff are professional, warm and so accommodating...I am hopeless at remembering names, but you know who you are! 🤗 There are plenty of good restaurants nearby; we really enjoyed Mitsos and the Rustic Garden. Should you hire a rental car as we like to do, the hotel has a private car park which had plenty of space. On our last day which was particularly cloudy, and the sea was red flagged, we visited Elafonisi Beach, which was beautiful. It's about one and a half hours away, and you need to be a fairly confident driver, as some of the road there is a little challenging! Anyway, we hope to return one day to the Vergina Beach; it really is a little gem....although we would probably go mid summer to be sure of sunshine.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel we knew we had made the right choice. We arrived at 4am to be greeted with a wonderful smile from Agilos. He was also there the next morning to serve us our delicious breakfast served in a beautiful setting overlooking the beach which is just fabulous . Water so nice. Dionysius had upgraded us to a Maionette . We just loved it. The cleaning staff were absolutely fantastic. Can't thank them enough. Dionysius gave us great recommendations for restaurants and couldn't do enough for us. George looked after us well with the jacuzzi. As has been said before it's the staff that make this hotel a 5 star experience. We loved each and every moment. Hopefully we get to come. Gerry from Dublin thks for the recommendation.
