My daughter and I spent a lovely week at Elotis Studios. The rooms were very clean and air conditioned, beds comfortable and the pool a nice temperature. The staff were always happy to help and were very welcoming. Just a few minutes walk from the beach, supermarket and a good choice of places to eat. We would definitely recommend a stay at this pretty and friendly place.

This is great little property we used it as a base to explore the island but its also a fantastic place if your just looking to chill. The rooms are in good condition and spacious plenty of room to relax in. The beds are very comfy and the rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels (except Sunday).

The communal areas are clean and well maintained and there is a small pool area, little too cold for me but it was October so was not expecting the pool to be warm.

The bar serves a good selection of drinks and the staff are welcoming and there is music played in the evening and sport on the TV as well.

The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Especially the breakfast waitress who is lovely and ensures that the food is fresh and topped up through breakfast. She is also a great Baker she brought a homemade cake in for breakfast from fruit grown in her garden, it was amazing and I'm not ashamed to say I had more than one slice it was that good.

I had a lovely visit to the hotel and would definately visit again. Thanks to all the staff for making our holiday so enjoyable

We stayed in a two bedroom "suite" at Elotis Suites for our ten night holiday. Room 108 is on two levels. Upstairs is two single beds, two small drawers and a desk with two more drawers. Only two power points, though. There is a toilet with a wash basin, too. By the basin is the power point to charge up your razor or toothbrush. Outside of this room is a large terrace with a table and chairs, plus a wall mounted clothes rack. Note that this is overlooked by two rooms at the back, plus the adjoining property. Down the twisty wooden stairs (be careful at the top, they're not straight up) is the main area. There is the main bedroom with, again, two single beds and a wardrobe and dresser. Two power points in here. The seating area has a sofa plus table and chairs. The really nice shower is down here but has a clouded glass door so can't hide all your modesty! The downstairs loo is in here, too. There's not a load of cupboard space and the fridge is behind a door. You get a kettle, two pan electric hob and a toastie machine but no toaster! Two power points in this room, too. The rooms are cleaned, beds made and clean towels 6 days out of 7, the wi-fi is good and the air con excellent (a unit in each room). We never tried the breakfast so can't comment but I did look and it's standard buffet fare. Overall, we were really happy with our stay and all the staff were friendly and courteous. Elotis is very neat and tidy and a great place to stay for families. Bus stops and supermarkets nearby, loads of restaurants, too, including the very good Terpsi slap bang next door. The beach is 50m across the road, behind the opposite buildings (head to it by the Minerva). Only gripe, apart from any mentioned above, is that they wanted to charge €216 to keep the room on for 8 hours. Nope!

Room:
Rooms were suitable and spacious and served it’s purpose. The shower itself leaked which meant it never tried properly and the fact that it had dark tiles made it seem damp.
The air-con was difficult to use and we spent a lot of time trying to get the hang of it. At one point the air-con actually spilled water inside our room however this was cleaned immediately once we informed reception.
The cleaning standard could have been better, as there was water marks still on shower screen and sink tap etc…
Beds were comfortable.

Facilities:
There is not enough sunbeds for the amount of guests staying which didn’t bother us and we went to the beach everyday anyway.
Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. Angela was brilliant at breakfast.
The bar area was disappointing. We decided one night to have a drink before going back to our room having just got back from Chania Harbour and the live singer was still on so I asked the bar staff how long was left of the performance and he said it finishes in 5 minutes. Despite this we thought we’d just stay and have one drink. We were charged $14 euros for 2 corona’s larger after we had finished them and told it’s extra as there is a live singer… then asked if we wanted to leave a tip for the bar staff service. Disgusting in my opinion especially having only caught the very last bit of the act!! We didnt spend any more time in the bar and we spoke to other guests who said that the bar was a rip off with its prices. You’re better off going to the super market and buying a corona for $2!

Location:
Opposite the turning for the beach, near lovely restaurants (Koupes is especially nice of looking for something local and the Rustic Gardens Greek Tapas and wine is a must!!!)
Plenty of super markets and bus stops/taxi’s very near.

The Elotis Suites is a lovely building on the "main road" in Agia Marina. All the staff are really helpful and friendly. We had ants in our room and we mentioned it to Reception and within minutes we were given an ant repellent spray, which we used and that ended our problem! We had a Studio Apartment, which was fine for 2 of us. However, I would just like to point out that the toaster that was provided was a sandwich toaster not a "pop up" toaster. So, a little difficult and long winded to do toast for breakfast. Also, there was a fridge with a little freezer box (not a fridge freezer) and there wasn't a microwave. This didn't bother us but it might other couples. It is unfortunate because of its location, that the swimming pool is on the small side, with only approximately 13 sun beds. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, had a lovely week there and the beach is literally just across the road. Plenty of excellent eateries around Elotis, and we would definitely go back.

We spent two weeks at the Elotis during September, and really enjoyed it . We had bed and breakfast and the breakfast choices were adequate. Our studio was a good size with a nice little balcony , comfy beds , nice shower and toilet area, with cooking facilities which we didn’t use . The pool is only small but you could use the sun beds and sit around until late afternoon in the sun. We were only a couple of minutes from the beach , and spent most days down there . The local bus service was good with bus stops to go either way only a couple of minutes from the hotel . All the staff were very friendly and helpful, Elena on reception, Angela at breakfast , and Petros who ran the bar area and organised the live music and entertainment . He was excellent . There are plenty of places to eat and drink just minutes away from the hotel, and prices are reasonable. Try Koupes , Spiti , and Aletri, we enjoyed them and call in to a little bar called Elena and meet Costa , he is a great host , with good food and drinks . All in all we had a great time and will return soon .Thankyou Elotis

My boyfriend and I spent a week at Elotis Suites in Agia Maria and we loved every minute of it. Our studio was spacious, nicely furnished and very clean with a cosy patio were we spent most late evenings. The AC was really affordable and we rented beach towels every day for 1 EUR/day. It was great having a fresh beach towel every day. The pool was lovely and we went swimming there every day after coming back from exploring Crete. We had breakfast included in our stay and it was a great start to the day. It consisted of everything we wanted and more so it exceeded our expectations. When we went for excursions we got a breakfast package with us for the day. The hotel also had live music in the bar a few days during the week and also showed sports for everyone who wanted to watch. The hotel staff was very friendly and service-minded. We loved Elotis Suites and if we’re coming back to Agia Marina we’re definitely staying here again.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and in the perfect location for our holiday. The beach is just a few minutes walk away, and with the bus stop being a 5 minute walk from the hotel, travelling to Chania was quick (about 20 mins), easy, and cheap (€2 each)! The hotel has a bus timetable in the reception. The area where the hotel is located has plenty of great restaurants and bars, along with many supermarkets. For restaurant recommendations, I would definitely suggest visiting Olivia’s, Isola seaside restaurant, and Terpsi (next door to the hotel).
All of the staff at the hotel were friendly and always happy to help. The breakfast was great, they continued to restock items until the last few minutes which was lovely. The pool is a good size and has plenty of sun beds available; it was never completely busy when we visited. We were also able to store our luggage in the reception, for free, after we checked out which was incredibly helpful.

Fabulous in every way, great value for money, the friendliest most helpful staff, spotlessly clean, great location, 2 mins to beach located across the road. Slept well every night, good breakfast choice. Big shout out to Mia, Antonis and Joseph whose lovely smiles greeted us every day. We will definitely book again. Also recommend visiting Cabana Mare beach club for the comfiest sunbeds and amazing sushi and entertainment, 10 mins walk along the beach.

My friends and I rented 3 rooms for a week. The suite I had was nice and spacious, with a lovely balcony fit for a late night drink - quiet since its a family oriented place with several toddlers present during our stay. Rooms were adequately furnished and cleaned daily except sunday. The location is perfect, 2 mins from the beach and from a nice supermarket, close to several restaurants, etc.

Breakfast had all the basics but was very bland and with no variety. Coffee was especially bad. We also had some issues with insects during our stay - be sure to use the plug in repellent provided. The kitchenette area smelled a bit moldy. Still 5* as the price makes up for this.
