Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
It is an ideal place for a holiday if you want to stay where there is a very pleasant, family atmosphere! The apartments are not directly on the beach, they are 100m apart, and access to it is perfect. The room has everything you need - a stove with all the kitchen accessories if you need to cook something. Most importantly, there is also a fridge with air conditioning, which are mandatory on hot days! Fantastic swimming pool with sun loungers where you can relax with a book in your hand, and when it gets too hot you can swim calmly, because the pool is not small. There are plenty of restaurants around so there is plenty to choose from. Opposite the apartments there is a bus stop from which we can get anywhere!
The owners and employees give this place a very good energy that can be felt throughout the hotel!
A wonderful place that we highly recommend! And we will definitely be back there next year!

A simple but nice and quiet hotel very close to the beach, only a few minutes walk. The rooms could need some updating but if you don’t expect luxury it’s very convenient. Very friendly staff and the pool is clean and nice. Warmly recommended!

Just back from a 10 day stay at this hotel. It's a little gem. Family run, everyone is friendly, helpful and work hard to keep the place clean, tidy and running smoothly. We had 2 studio apartments overlooking the beautiful pool. It was lovely and quiet and you wouldnt believe the road was close by with all the fab restaurants and shops. The beach was 2 minutes walk away too. There was a moveable hinged 'door' between our balconies which meant we could have privacy if needed but could also feel together when sitting outside. The rooms were big and the furniture spotless. The bed was huge and one of the most comfortable we have ever experienced. The kitchenette was well equipped and the fridge a good size. The bathroom was a little small but more than adequate for our needs. Thoroughly recommended this place and much prefer it to larger more corporate/faceless hotels .

The place is amazing! Clean has a fully stocked kitchen. The Staff were super helpful and nice. Breakfast was tasty. Would definitely go back, and I recommend anyone who wants to stay in the area go there.

We are really grateful to the hotel Perla Beach in Agia Maria. Everything was excellent. We did not have a reservation at this hotel. So, we just appeared at their reception and asked for a room. It took 10 minutes to get the keys. The staff was extremely polite and nice. The room was big, clean and rather cozy. It was equipped with all necessary kitchen staff. What is important - everything was clean like in the hospital :) Also, I would like to say a few words about the terrace with a swimming pool view. During the day children were playing there and, on my mind, it was a safe place for them. But in the evening it was our lounge zone, sooo romantic and convenient. The beach is in 3 minutes from the hotel, so you can go there at any moment to say hello to the sun or to count the stars in the night. By the way, the bus stop where you can catch the bus to any of the most beautiful beaches of Crete is just near the hotel. If you have a car, you can use free hotel parking. So, we really liked everything and can recommend this hotel to our friends.

This was the second time I visited Chania and I decided not to stay at the old port because of the noise. The Perla Beach apartments were more like suites and there wasn't alot of noise. Very well designed and clean. The pool was very clean and well maintained all the time...I stayed there with my 2 other gfriends so the price was very affordable and the suites were spacious. The staff helped us with directions to different places we wanted to visit so all in all a good deal!

Our stay was a delight. Perla Beach has nice sized rooms with little kitchens in each room. The resort is super clean and the employees were very nice and helpful. The pool is perfect, and the most beautiful beach is just a short walk away .i come again next years
