Minos Village is located in the heart of the famous developed resort of Chania, Agia Marina, which is well know during the summer season for its day and night life, the numerous restaurants, traditional taverns, cafe bars, beach bars, clubs and shops. The hotel is very close to the village of Agia Marina, in a peaceful small street and just 5 minutes distance from the endless sandy beach, where every summer thousands of guests spend many hours of their holidays, by swimming, relaxing or enjoying sea sports and various games. For our guests who do not have a car, transportation to the close area around the hotel (nearest beaches, pharmacies, banks etc) is a free service by using our golf car.

The apartments are generally nice - not as big as they look on the pictures - we had a one-bedroomed apartment which was ok for 2 of us but the storage could be improved (only 5 coat-hangers & 2 drawers). The kitchen area was very small & a bit tatty- an additional worksurface is needed and it only comprised of 2 rings & a sink - no drainage board meant washing up was difficult & although there was a sandwich toaster & coffee machine - we never used them - we then spent two days looking for a toaster to buy! The maids work very hard & rooms are cleaned daily & towels/sheets changed every 2 days. Sifis & Yannis were excellent barmen / chefs (food was vey good) & all the hotel staff were helpful when approached. The location is good as its quiet and only a short walk down into the main town. Pool area clean - again its smaller in real life - and my other complaint would be sunbeds - there are clearly not enough so there were quite a few days when we simply had no other option but to go to the beach (people did get up early & put towels on). With a bit of updating & additional storage/equipment these apartments could be perfect.

The apartments are perfect for families. It has the perfect balance of being family orientated and peaceful. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The pool is great! The food and drinks are very good. The Greek coffee is amazing if you’re a coffee drinker. It’s very clean, the cleaning staff work very hard. Also the location is excellent- everything is within walking distance including the beach. But there is a free shuttle if you don’t fancy walking. They even helped when my daughter developed a high fever when we first arrived. They helped us find a pharmacy and were very concerned. I would definitely recommend this place. I do not have any negative comments at all. This is an all round great place.

Have sadly just left these apartments and cannot speak highly enough about them. The top floor studio we had was absolutely lovely, definitely the nicest we've ever had, it was cleaned every day, except from Sunday, with clean towels and sheets daily also. We had a great balcony which had the sun on it virtually all day. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool bar prices were very reasonable and the food was nice. We are beach lovers so didn't use the pool that often but when we did, it was very tidy, there seemed to enough sunbeds for the amount of people that wanted to use them. Didn't seem to be towels on them to reserve them apart from a couple of mornings where we could see a few towels but no people.. The location is excellent, lots of tavernas literally within a minutes walk that were brilliant, very reasonable and great food. Beautiful sandy beach was 10 minutes walk, past some tavernas and a couple of supermarkets. I would recommend these apartments to anyone, and would go back there in a heartbeat.

we arrived mid-afternoon and were promptly shown to our room after a warm greeting, our room was just as the photos show ! , very clean and spacious, we had an open balcony and a covered on which led of that, the childrens pool was perfect for our 4 year old grandson and the other pool was never too crowded at any one time, we always had a sunbed ,except for one day.The hotels bar and restaurant was very clean and food lovely. the beach is only a 5-10 minute walk away,as are a couple of shops/supermarkets , there are a few restaurants along the way. I celebrated my 50th birthday there and found a lovely letter from all the staff wishing me a happy birthdayand a lovely bottle of white wine. All in all a very enjoyable holiday made the best by a lovely room . 10/10 . Room 211. 16th-23rd july 2019. thankyou all at minos village...- gary, sharon, and jayden.

Best and most modern apartments I have stayed in on a Greek island. Complimentary wi-fi and AC shampoo shower gel maid service daily. Couldn't fault the apartments at all. Pool was nice and clean but sunbathing here was hot as no breeze due to the location of the pool. Otherwise a perfect place to stay.
