I booked our stay with Ramon via e-mail and reconfirmed about a month before we left. Ramon met us at the airport and took us on an orientation tour of the town, with lots of information on restaurants, etc. Our room was rather plain. It had twin beds, as requested. There was a small desk but no chair, an open... More

The review by Liz E said it all! Our American travel agent who's based in Santiago uses this guesthouse for his clients rather than have them stay in expensive hotels. We stayed here 4 nights in January 2016. Ramon was our guide (and breakfast chef). There were 2 other ladies from CA staying at the same time, and we all... More

This is the one stop shop- free airport transfers, free breakfast and in-house multi-lingual tour guides? I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. It was an authentic Rapa nui family experience. Like staying with family you actually like, this B and B is great, because you're family, but have your own private place to retreat to when you're... Ramon Edmunds & Josefina Nahoe at the Aloha Nui Guesthouse were the best part of our stay. They were both so warm and friendly, offering lots of great information about what to do and see. We were greated at the airport and taken on a mini tour of the island. Our room was very comfortable and clean with a back... More

HINT: There is no wifi at this location as of 12/14, so you will have to use either the cellular system or walk about 2 blocks to an internet cafe. The cellular system on Rapa Nui isn't always reliable or fast, but it is pretty decent. Ramon is phenomenal as a guide and the facility, a repurposed house, is terrific... More

We spent 10 days at this place on Rapa Nui Island and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Ramon and Josephine and their family are perfect hosts. They are experts regarding all aspects of the Island and are ready to tell you many great stories that you will not find in books. Same of our friends stayed at the... More

Decades will pass before I return to Rapa Nui, a.k.a. Easter Island. The island will probably have its own Ace Hotel with a chi-chi hipster retro-tiki-bar theme, and a dozen massive, bland luxury chain hotels. OK, I really hope not! But regardless: when I come back, the Aloha Nui Guesthouse will welcome me back, making me feel at home yet... More

I had a great time with Alexandra Ramon and Josefina, they are all very very nice, helpful, with great suggestions, knowledgeable about their island, and so much more. After the first day I felt part of the island, they really made me feel welcome. The room was nice, bathroom too, and I loved the breakfast room, with a table for... More

I stayed here with my mother who had always want to visit Easter Island and now it finally happened. Ramon picked us up from the airport and gave us a first tour around town before bringing us to the hotel, which is a nice refurbished house with six rooms surrounded by a wonderful garden. The rooms have new bathrooms. Ramon... More

Aloha Nui is all about Ramon and Josie, the owners. They have a family history that will astound and delight you. Ramon's father was Hanga Roa's long time, much beloved mayor, a position Ramon's brother now holds. Josie's grandfather was William Mulloy, Easter Island's first and most distinguished archeologist, who arrived with Thor Heyerdahl's Aku-Aku expedition in 1955. It almost... More
