I was greeted at the airport by Sonia, who gave me a lei, and took me on a little tour of the town. She was very helpful. Marcelo, her husband, took over from there, making sure I had everything I needed to enjoy paradise.
Kaimana was a very enjoyable experience. It is small, cozy & feels like home. The rooms are fairly basic, but quite large, and the common area is lovely.

You can book for free through booking sites and then pay when your arrive or leave. Make sure you ask for a receipt and keep it! The owner is nice, but can be forgetful. Also, for some reason, every place I stayed in Chile, the cost was always more. So, if booking says you will owe $200, the hotel will give you a bill for $240, for example. Its very strange, but I didn't want to get into it.
