Stayed here for a week in a 1 bed villa. The property is absolutely immaculate, really beautiful and doesn't really want for anything except for a bit of soul. Recently taken over by the Four Seasons group who are one of the best in the business. The staff are very well trained (600 or so)! but there is just the...

the only possible thing to fault is that the hotel is close to Hoi An, which in our opinion is overhyped and has lost all its authenticity. But actually that's a plus for the hotel. You are drawn to the area by Hoi An's reputation from years ago, and then you realize you don't want to spend time there so...

This is a breathtaking location and the resort offers every luxury for which one might wish! We spent three nights here. Two of the days we toured nearby Hoi An and distant Hue. I wish we had more time to relax in this beautiful setting, but since it is January, it isn't that sunny. It's best to let yourself be...

After a short 2 night visit, there are not enough positive things we can say about this resort other than go before the entirety of the Hoi An area becomes a tourist nightmare! This hotel is at the top of the luxury food-chain, right up there with the Aman resorts (it is now a Four Seasons). We had a two-bedroom...

The Nam Hai is, and I hate to use the term, near perfect. Near perfect because nothing is perfect and the rates are perhaps out of reach for most people. The resort is immaculate, there is not a blade of grass out of place. Compliments of the many staff that easily outnumber the guests which is not a bad thing....

I have been coming to the Nam Hai ever since it opened and I cannot say how this place has captured my heart in so many ways. First and foremost the entire estate is tended to down to the detail. The staff are friendly and chirpy and some even recognize us when we come back and great us with joy....

Dining at the Nam Hai Hoi An Four Seasons Resort was by far the most memorable experience of our two week vacation in Vietnam. The resort is unbelievably beautiful and meticulously maintained. The staff is overwhelmingly accommodating and work to ensure your experience is special. We were greeted at our car and escorted to the bar to have a drink...

We stayed here for 4 nights during out two week long Vietnam vacation. Our villa was stunning. So spacious, so beautiful and complete privacy. The turndown service was amazing, curtains draw, candles lit, bed ready to sleep and music too. The villa we stayed in was a little aways from the main pool area so we would call for a...

The Nam Hai is a beautiful hotel. The setting with the pools and the beach is extraordinary. The rooms are very comfortable and luxurious. Location is very good as well with long stretches of white and clean beach and quite close to Hoi An. We had breakfast, dinner and lunch at the hotel and the food is very good. The...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Along a seemingly infinite stretch of sand, amidst Vietnam’s richest cultural heritage, a strand of sophisticated, visually striking villas lines the dramatic beachfront. Inspired by 2,500 years of history, The Nam Hai’s architecture and interior design presents a dramatic play on wind and water inspired by ancient feng shui philosophy and the grandeur of the Tu Doc royal tombs of Hue. Explore the nearby UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Hoi An, My Son and Hue with its Buddhist pagodas, royal tombs and historic citadels. Return to our calm, tropical shore on Ha My Beach to relax around three expansive swimming pools, in the spa on a lotus pond, over gourmet Eastern and Western cuisine or in the privacy of one of our 100 private retreats, elegantly finished with Vietnamese lacquer and diaphanous silk, some of which are served by a most attentive butler. ... more   less
