We have been coming to these apartments for 20 years and have always had a happy time, however, they had become in need of a revamp, which the new owners are doing, bit by bit.. ours has been completed and looks great.. This location is good for me because I am disabled and it is very near to many wonderful eating places. We have been very well looked after. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Another visit to the apartments , another relaxing break. You cannot beat the fantastic views, location and helpful staff. A new team running things with major plans for the future. Ideal with a very well maintained pool and only a small number of neighbours. Looking forward to the next trip.

we had booked this a year in advance with request for upper full sea view. .....we were shown to an apartment with partial view , that is if you leaned out the window you could see the seaview but considering we paid £450 for a week we were going to find other accomodation? but to give romana her dues she conjured up an apartment with superb view of the harbour and sea in apartment 3.... let me be clear this was the finest position to view everthing going off in the harbour and sunsets on the balcony. but and heres the swings and roundabouts bit.............. there were two safes for valuables the first a very substantial heavy metal one from the the sweeney era but had a broken lock the new one not bolted down with no batteries and useless....two basic single beds one of them broken in the middle causing noise when you tuned over........ broken coffee table one leg loose..... tired furniture with "throws covering them. after 4 days we had to request a change in towels.......apartment never cleaned poor wifi with constant requests to de infect your device just click here.....tv with only the bbc world service the rest in german .......nobs missing from the chest of drawers so you pull on the screwthread i dont really want to go on but it was very tired apartment but with a fantastic view and could have been so much more with a little effort...... great places to eat close by and the seahorse pub just outside........ours was apt 3 and i believe aptment 9 is the other with unrestricted views......make sure you check what your getting

I have been traveling to El Cotillo last 8 years and it is one of my favorite destinations. I stayed at number of different apartments before I discovered Mr Benitez's apartments and we loved it, that is why we kept going back. But my last visit was a huge disappointment. Today we were literally thrown out of the apartment three times, the check out time was 12:00 am. We have two small kids and a day before I spoke to the lady and told her that hour flight was at 5pm so we will leave in the afternoon and she said it was OK. But the next morning she was at the door telling us that checkout time was 12:00 am and we have to leave, I reminded her that I spoke to her a day before, she said it is not a problem but we have to talk to the new tenant who was staying in the next apartment who would be moving in to the one we stayed at. I was quite surprised given that I spoke to her a day earlier. I said OK, we will leave at 13:00. She said that was OK, and again the cleaner guy and her was at the door at 13:00 telling us it is time to go, my wife asked for another ten minutes, we were all packed and was about to leave, just wanted to do a last sweep to make sure that we haven't left anything behind. The cleaner guy told my wife that 5 minutes would be better. I actually tipped him 5 Euros before my wife told me what happened. I was so angry. We have two small children, and it is very difficult to get ready, I would have expected a bit more understanding after spending 1050€. I like Mr. Benitez and I've heard that he had an operation, I wish him well and a quick recovery. Unfortunately he was not there, if he was things might have been little different. I have never experienced anything like this when Mr. Benitez was there, he was always kind and he never made a fuss about leaving right on official checkout time. And It was never a problem because we did not have kids before. We used to pay around 55€ per night and the price have gone up to 75€, we thought it is little expensive but we liked the apartments so we said, OK it is a bit expensive but we like it, so we will go. But there used to be very nice Spanish cleaning lady, who was so kind, and would regularly come and clean the apartments. This time even though the price had gone up from 55 to 75, the service quality has come down. They did not clean our apartment not even once in our two week stay, and the first couple of days we did not even get new toilet paper and rubbish bag so we had to go and buy our own. Anyways, this was our last stay at Mr benitez's apertments. We wish him well, he is a nice guy but it was a mistake to leave the management to those two incompetent people (The girl and the cleaner guy)

If you want 5 star keep going. These are great apartments that could do with a refirb soon. Having said that felt relaxed straight away, spotlessly clean, nothing to much trouble for Romana. We have already booked for next year but keep that quite dont want to struggle with availability. Views are brilliant but sunsets are amazing. For us, next 2 years sorted
