Stayed there for 80th Birthday celebrations. Fabulous room with view of pool and golf course.Excellent evening meal,I had a fabulous steak. Good breakfast, cooked or buffet. Underground parking, and excellent staff.
My daughter and I stayed here for a few days in early December. The room (4th floor) was nice and clean with a nice balcony to sit on overlooking the pool. The whole complex is nice, suppermarket on site, bars, restuarants and 10 minutes from the beach by car. TV has English channels, comfortable beds, full stocked minibar (6 Euros for a packet of crisps though!). Unfortunately you cannot get breakfast in the Golf bar like you can in the summer, but thats ok, a quick trip to Alcazeres will get you a breakfast for a few Euros. We were able to have sole use of the indoor pool as almost no-one was in the hotel, so that was nice. All in all a nice few days, quite good value.
We checked in late on Thursday night ( flight delayed ) I had called the hotel the week before to request a double bed which I was told would be no problem On checking in the male receptionist said there was no note on our booking and he couldn’t promise to find a room ( hotel is only quarter full ) he then said we had to pay another 50€ or “ put up “ he was rude and tried to tell us we had made up re calling . We were here for a friends birthday who live on the complex The room we were given at another 50€ was lovely overlooking the pool but we would of been just as happy to have a room over the road His whole attitude makes us wonder if that’s why people told us not to book the hotel
We arrived today to find the golf and spa hotel has no golf. We booked in August and were told on arrival the golf closed in June. We were shown an announcement that was posted on the site. When I tried this evening I did not see the announcement. The hotel ensured we could only get a token if we cancelled our booking. I also believe I paid a higher rate, which has now reduced due to the loss of facility. The Asian restaurant is closed, the grill closes this Erving. We ate there, they serve grills with corn on the cob and baked potato, no corn on the cob. No offer of an alternative. A poor show all round. The only restaurant open is the Italian which doubles as the breakfast room.
Lovely clean stunning hotel , has nice bar area , pool area . Indoor spa area lovely and great gym with good equipment. Very clean throughout. Resort has golf tennis shop Irish bar crazy golf and lots of restaurants on the boulevard
Rooms nice and comfortable and clean, clover bar great, clubhouse great, restaurant is awful Restaurant is so bad and service is so off hand that by the time the waitress came back with my wine the meal was finished, and we are still waiting on Parmesan Service from the staff lacked warmth or interaction and they had zero interest in your dining experience, avoid at all costs
This hotel is very nice but the spar is a waste of time and money as its just a dip pool with jets which we had in our room anyway and lots of things didn’t work. It is a shame the pub on site was closed till 7. Great place for food and drinks. The other bar was extortionate prices. breakfast was ok
This hotel is not 5 * Rubbish cheap sunbeds, and a pathetic attempt at luxury poolside cabanas. The guests from the residences apartments were always here and very loud with no checking by anyone??? No champagne on arrival and nobody to help with our bags. No hotel bar and limited Spa service. Never enough milk in the room.
Arriving at the reception we were not informed spa has to be additionally paid and a reservation for the spa is needed. the girl at the spa reception stared laughing at us making it look like its the most obvious thing to pay for the apart when you go to a 5 stars hotel. she was super rude and ruined our afternoon. then the ceiling in out room started leaked heavily. i have videos ( which i cannot upload at the system only allows pics) and pictures of how the water is falling in the floor and that really does not seem safety. the man of the reception was not very impressed and just give a call to someone to fix it and said it will be clean when we go back. however the floor was not completely dry so I slipped and fell. i told the receptionist that it looks dangerous and i was right, but they just didnt care of our safety. i still have bruises . ialso have pictures or the wet floor. then when trying to charge my phone the socket was not working and when I took off my charger the hole socket came out of the wall, all cables outside. I also have pictures of that which js absolutely unacceptable. the door if the toilet was not able to close completely, I also have video of it. so very very disappointed for a 5 star hotel, better choose any other in the area.…
From the reception through to the room and the facilities all excellent the only problem was that we forgot to take one jacket which we left in the wardrobe when we came back and asked for lost property they said nothing was left in the room so on that point all I can say now is someone stole my wife’s jacket
