I post this complaint here because can't found a mailbox for reclamation. we were welcomed by a very professional employee who gave us the keys to the flat and explained our stay, When we received the accommodation we found that the wifi was not working and that the air conditioning was not working properly, i reported the wifi problem to the reception. As we had planned an activity in the afternoon we were away until late in the evening when we returned the wifi problem was still there and the air conditioning was not working as it only expelled not cool air. As it was late and the children were tired we decided to call the reception the next morning, as the room phone was not working either. The next day I went to the reception where I had an exchange with a male employee who didn't understand why the wifi problem had not been solved the day before, I explained to him that the most important thing was the air conditioning, he did what was necessary to send a technician quickly, finding several defects in the room, including the air conditioning, the wifi, and a deafening noise from the fridge, The technician suggest to change room, which the reception granted us, this whole procedure took at least the whole morning, when I went to the reception to ask for a compensation for the inconvenience suffered, the employee on a rather annoying and not very commercial tone told us that he had already made a gesture by proposing another flat to us and which according to his words was bigger than the one we had paid for. to our great surprise when we took possession of the new flat we realized that it was exactly the same as the one we had the day before! ( (old room 11013 new one 19021) having no desire to waste any more time and above all to have a confrontation with your employee at the reception desk we were happy to settle down to finish our stay and leave not without a certain bitterness and a taste of a wasted stay. This letter of dissatisfaction does not reflect all your employees but only the person with whom we had the confrontation, it does not reflect at all the excellence and professionalism that we expect to have in this kind of prestigious establishment that is yours.…
We hired one of the residences on Mar Manor golf resort. The flat was clean & spacious with a very generously sized balcony over looking pool 13. Perhaps getting close to needing an internal paint touch up. One small issue with a leaking aircon system was dealt with very promptly. The accommodation lacked a few essentials such as a cork screw ..... maybe that’s just an essential for me? The complex is landscaped well and is clearly well maintained, there is one mini market on site. All pools are lifeguard manned. Situated a short drive from the bars and restaurant and many supermarkets of Los Alcazares it is also very well situated for visiting either ends of the Mar Manor and popping to Cartegena (you can take a train one stop if you don’t fancy city driving). We would stay here again. Make sure to try the mud baths at Lo Pagan if you do stay in this area..... super experience (and free).…
The apartment was very nice and very spacious. The beds or towels were not changed but I did not expect that. The staff were polite and helpful. The golf course was the major let down and the bunkers had no sand so very difficult to play out off. One hole also advised you were unable to hit driver or 3 wood due to surroundings.
Stayed in the Residence rather than the hotel as it gives you more option it had a shared pool that was quite while we were there i would definitely go again. You can have breakfast in the golf bar and in the evening we tended to go to the shamrock on the boulevard.
First for the good bits. General area is nice, its a purpose built village with various types of accommodation from privately owned villas to hotels to apartments. The golf is good and there are other good courses in the area to choose from. After this it goes down hill. The residences is up there with the worst accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. Everything seemed dated and falling apart, think old hostel and you’ll be in the right region. Complaints about the problems with the accommodation were ignored. As for the facilities Im not sure the staff are really interested in good service. I have to be fair and say not all, but most dont seem to want you to be there, it was a horrible atmosphere in the restaurant/bar area in the centre. Another thing to mention, they seem to run out of buggies very quickly so if its hot get in there quickly. Or even better book somewhere else. Not a single member of our group would return here. Dont say you weren’t warned! …
Apt had everything we needed, clean, convenient for golf courses, lots of bars and restaurants just outside complex. Use of pool, breakfast good. Would recommend as a golfing base, lots of golf courses within 1 hour.
Hi,just returned from golf trip in group of 10 to this resort.I cannot fault the resort,apartments are well equipped & spacious.we had a 3 bed apartment & a 2 bed apartment which was very adequate.The golf courses were of a high standard (especially ell Valle & hacienda recelmie ),only slight negative was a little bit far to travel for descent meal of an evening,but only slight.I would strongly recommend staying at this resort,value for money.
We stayed in The Residences and arrived the morning before the worst storms to hit the region for many years arrived that evening. This was an extreme weather event and the main hotel (& some apartments) were left in a state of disrepair (wet carpets, water dripping from light fittings, toilets out of use etc). We were without running water for over 24 hours from Friday morning to Saturday lunchtime and again for all of Saturday evening; disappointingly we received no information and we were not provided with any drinking water during this time. We, like other residents, had to fill up buckets from the swimming pool to flush our own toilets. We appreciate that the hotel could not prevent the lack of water supply, but the lack of drinking water (we bought our own from the local Spar) created a health hazard and meant that many residents used the swimming pools to clean themselves. Anyone due to visit in the next few weeks should contact the hotel to check the situation before considering a change of venue. The extreme weather did not however excuse the following: 1. We were not offered any transport to our apartment from the hotel reception, which meant that we had to carry our luggage and golf bags around 500m both on arrival and on departure; this would be impossible for some people. 2. Our apartments were clean on arrival but never cleaned whilst we were there, toilet rolls & towels were not replaced during a four night stay (& we were not offered a cleaning facility for extra cost). 3. One safe could not be locked and the another could not be unlocked. 4. Breakfast on Friday and Saturday morning was served in the main restaurant, the food choice was excellent but the room is quite small, which led to a wait of up to 30 minutes for a table. On Sunday & Monday we were served breakfast in another room, the breakfast choice was very limited compared to the main restaurant and we discovered that the carpet in this room was still very wet in places. The above points are not in any particular order, but the lack of assistance from the hotel and being left to fend for ourselves, was unacceptable.…
Thought a month in the sun would be great how wrong I was we were subjected to gangs of builders renovating buildings for the whole month from 8am (sometimes 7am) until 8 pm. No thought for anyone on holiday the owners apparently where aware of what was happening but chose to keep quiet as they were well away from it all. I have enquired since I have returned home to find it is still going on it was a terrible experience and I feel sorry for anyone who has booked accommodation already. If you have booked a house you should be alright as it seems to be concentrated on apartment blocks and it going to happen to all of them on the resort. If you want a peaceful holiday don't go, you cant afford to play golf everyday to get away from it.
Was our second visit to this complex in as many years. Rooms were spacious, clean, air conditioned. Towels and bedding changed twice in the week we were there. English buffet and continental style breakfast was included from the main hotel which l found very nice. The golf course was exceptionally good. The complex is connected to 6/7 other golf complexes which can be booked as a package.
