I visited this hotel during a two-day conference and could not fault the location, accommodation, food or staff. A number of new buildings seamlessly merged within a fantastic old castle. Beware, some very steep cobbled streets within the complex. Google Maps also shows it's about a 15 minute walk from the main railway station, but it is quite a climb...

I was in this hotel for a seminar All services are well planned, check in, taxi, restaurant, wellness area. All the rooms are very good well designed and mantained. The Quality level of all services are over the level of the standard of the hotel due to ambientation and services I felt very good and probably I will return with...

Whilst pretending to be a Hotel, this is in fact a poorly run training centre owned by a cooperative. The concept of customer satisfaction has not been heard of here. The fact that companies belonging to the cooperative make up the bulk of business has lead to an attitude of take it or leave it. Staff are surly, requests for...

Beautiful 17th century castle set high upon the hill. This is primarily a conference facility and has lots if accommodation spread out over the hillside. Stopped in Nassau house which was 60 or so steps away from reception and the restaurant. Bear this in mind, you may want to ask for a room closer to the main facilities. Breakfast great...

For us the town of Montabaur, the hotel and castle were not a preset destination but a GPS suggestion and serendipity. It is on the way between Koln and Meinz. We were very happy to have discovered this beautiful area. The schloss Montabaur was very interesting and I liked the gardens surrounding it. You can like we did pick up...

The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was neat but small. The hotel has free Wi-Fi accesses and also in the rooms you have...

Nice hotel, build like a castle. The rooms are fine (little small with single bed) and updated technology (DSL, Cable). The main issue is that it is build out of 8 buildings and there is a need to travel between the buildings (breakfast, check in...)

I have been here for a recruiting seminar event for two nights. The rooms are located in different dorms across the area of the castle. The (well-designed) rooms are well equipped with wired internet, TV, minibar. The bathroom is small, but functional. The food was good (different salads, appetizers, desserts). Unfortunately, the lunchroom/restaurant has sort of a cantine style. But...

Schloss montabaur is NOT a hotel for babies. Situated on THE A3, a Nice 4 star hotel is perfect to sleep with a baby on THE way... But do NOT go to schloss montabaur. It is a 130 euro business hotel with THE looks of a castle. You pay extra for a baby bed, they do not place it on...
